The stadium seats across the field and directly in front of Southern's band are reserved, for the fans who pay a higher price, for their game tickets. They put the opposing band in the least favorable position in the stadium, so that the "football" fans have the best possible view for the football game.

Boombox should be interesting SU slacking off a bit. One thing I love about the juke is they will let other bands that’s not in their category out play them , but when boombox classic come around they bring they power back. They save their energy for JSU. Be real y’all know The Juke will blow on Alcorn any day they saving their arrangements for JSU

Tommy Lee Jr. That’s why I love attending the boombox classic because it’s a great rivalry between the top two bands. No lie the Juke got the best of JSU last year from zero to fifth. I love JSU but Juke #1. Both bands love bashing each other & that gives the fans hype. SU has the best fan base I love y’all man.
That’s sad if a band is so afraid of 1 school that it will take Ls just during the season just for 1 game. Why not just not take Ls and play to your best and always get better

All these comments, first of all..............one of Alcorns directors are SU alumni, so let's wonder why this battle was a friendly rivalry on our Homecoming. When normally a homecoming game would be the worst schools to play, predicting an automatic win for the football team. But besides that...............SU is the best band in the land!!!

Yeah man I can see that they just playing way to fast got them sounding off I blame it on practice they have to know what the other sections is playing also and play down instead of up it's a simple fix but they have to practice it

The tempo is too fast when in transition and it throws the band off. You'll know it when and band is "in the pocket" with tempo,timing and playing accuracy. On both bands I didn't quite hear that, everything felt rushed.

Being louder does not make you the best band. Controlling the notes and having a good sound does. Being too loud can be out of tune and sloppy. If you have to skip notes to play loud something is wrong. If you watch some bands close up you can see people waiting to play loud notes and skipping parts.
