- In this video, I took on one of the spiciest nasi lemak in Singapore - probably one of the tastiest one as well! Been wanting to try Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang for the longest time - procrastinating for awhile due to my low spice tolerance.
The chicken leg they serve were huge, meaty and incredibly tender. I went with all 4 grilled chicken options, which are the Taliwang, Balado, Cabe Ijo and Kecap Manis. My favorite is still their classic Taliwang, i find that one the most balance and goes really well with that coconut rice.
Do try out their chicken wings as well, beautiful seasoned and extremely crispy as they fry it on the spot so you won't get any of those stale chicken wings.

For all who live far from Yishun, there is an outlet at the central area at SMU :) they won a Michelin star before and I do like their nasi lemak very much. Chicken literally peels off the bone with excellent sauce (although spicier than average). Rice is fragrant. I tried both the sambal and taliwang before but I think the taliwang tastes much better. Have fun :)

Loved their version of nasi lemak..fragrant and flavorful...i will eat at least twice a month...cabe ijo was my favourite.. can't take too spicy..so far the standard is maintained when i bought..just that 1 time the chicken has a weird taste and still have some blood in it..next round i will ask the guy to grill it a bit longer to get that char..

I visit the stall once a week, my family loves the Ayam Taliwang. However, I always find the eggs overcooked, as the yolks are not runny. Your servings here look great with the runny egg yolks! Probably go over on Friday to dabao again

The way they bbq their chicken is amazing, smoky and tender and crispy in some parts but that taliwang chilli is really crazy. The chilli they smothered on your chicken is lesser than usual lah

Tried both kapchap and taliwang, the spicy level is just mild. But the chicken drumstick is very big, shiok, and addictive, almost craving for it every week nowadays.
