thank u so so much for making this video !! it’s so helpful, i started making this bag yesterday and i can already tell it’s gonna be so cute :]] i would say if anyone else makes it the stitch markers def help a lot and speeds up the process cos u can just check the number of stitches to the marker once without having to keep recounting as you go, also make the 5 double crochets (for the popcorn) tighter to keep the ball neat :’’

How many grams of wool did you use?
@@nghiphuong8438 i can’t lie i’ve still not finished this haha (worked on and off) but i think the bag portion is close to done - i didn’t keep track but MAYBE 300 grams so far??? so i’d say probably max 400-500 when i’m done !!
also side note i’d definitely recommend looking into lining the bag with fabric when you’re done (there are tutorials on youtube) because i think otherwise it’s going to stretch a lot 🥰

I’m excited to make this! I’m currently making a strawberry keychain to go with it. I had a hard time finding milk Cotten yarn, though. I found some on Etsy for $4.39 per skein if anybody else is having the same issue. Thanks for sharing this video ❤

Hi Vivi, I absolutely love your tutorials on all these cute projects! I wanted to make a note, I redid this one few times but could never get the puff uniformed (OCD). It finally worked when I made 34 chains in the beginning instead of 32. At 32 chains, the last puff made had only 1 chain between the first puff. By adding 2 chains to the beginning I finally got the 3c between puffs I needed to make that last dc between the last and starting puff. Sorry for the long msg!!
omg i had the same problem, i always redo it because the puffs are not uniform and it bothers me sm so i quit making this but i will try creating this bag again by doing 34 chains. i hope it works, thank you for your comment! 🫶🏻
@@flowersformeandyou you’re welcome! Also, in later rows you’ll start to get extra space between the first and last puff of the row (probably due to changing it to 34 chains, idk) but having extra space is easy to fix. I did my best to space out or combine the stitching to keep everything in place.
Don’t take my word on it bc it could also be an error on my part. On the rows where you single crochet into every stitch, I feel I’m adding 1 extra single stitch than Im supposed to. I am finished the bag, working on the straps now

@@jennapark9406 probably it’s small because you’re not stretching (when pulling through) it as much as in the video or you have a different ply of yarn.

I'm on the third row of the popcorn and they are slowly moving behind the last one, like, the first two were in line but these ones are like a stitch behind. any idea on how to fix this? I'm going to go and look back at my stitches again but i don't think i made a mistake
I have no Idea where I'm messing up. I count my stitches (the 28 dc + dc x 6) but whenever I get to the last puff ball there is no more room to do the DC then slip.

You can just look for cotton /acrylic yarn the same size/weight keep in mind that acrylic likes to stretch over usage
