Thanks Richard and Jennifer for sharing this video. The sign turned out awesome and there is a WOW FACTOR for the way the door looks. It is turning into a beautiful addition to the Cabin. Stay safe and keep up the good work and fun around there. Fred.
Sorry to bother you but this is Stuart Mitchell from Colorado springs I wanted to know the Cabot clear wood protectant that you use on your wood does it leave a clear thick glossy finish
Hello from Canada. I love watching you build. I started when you were building your cabin and outhouse, I say it has been fun. Keep up the most bueiful wood work I have ever seen. Good luck and God Bless to you and your Family.
Nice job on the sign "Juice Shack." Great job on the custom door and trim. That shack is built more solid than many homes. Safe place to hide during a storm.
When I was very young, living on a Amish farm for a summer. He had a shop where he made grandfather clocks. Alot of inlayed wood was done. And it looked very nice.
I like your work ethic, I like the fact you’re a dedicated hard worker, and I like your style. The Juice Shack, brilliant idea! Keep up the great work!
Desde Zaragoza ( España ) aunque sea con retraso. Muchas felicidades por su cumpleaños. Sigo sus videos desde su comienzo y aunque ya soy una persona mayor los veo con mucha ilusión. Gracias
That actually made me laugh when I read it. I guess I’m just simple and approach everything in that manner and hope that it doesn’t turn out too hard, lol.
Thanks, I just try to be simple and effective. I have a very common sense approach to most of the projects. I only know a little bit about a lot and not a lot about too much, lol.
You want to hear a funny story. The whole time you've been building this, i thought it really was for like making wine or apple juice. It just dawned on me today when u said it's for electrical stuff. Lolol 😅😊😂 God bless u guys
Thanks for the kind words! We're glad you're enjoying the journey. It did add a little bit of a change in the theme, but still goes with the all natural look.
Looks great as always. That rail system has come in handy for other projects - paint stand, glue up table, etc. 😊. Did Jennifer say “Ohm sweet Ohm” - I got a chuckle out of thinking that is what I heard. Great saying for the Juice Shack. Oh, and happy birthday. 🎂
Better than never I wish you a best birthday year 2024.Missing some of your video but I will catch on eventually from CANADA🎂🎂 love the way you work.💯👌
Looking great guys ! Thanks to your inspiration, I am finally ready to begin construction on my 16x24 post and beam garden shed. I got my building permit 4 weeks ago ( I even had to pay an engineer to stamp my plans) and just got my HOA approval yesterday 👍 You guys are fortunate you don’t have to deal with that red tape 😳 Building it will be the easy part as far as I’m concerned !
Wow, Richard; all that I can say is great job my friend! Love the simple sign, it fits right in to your old style look. I’m surprised that Jennifer hasn’t made a joke about “selling fruit juice out of The Juice Shack”?
I remember the old barns and even houses with rods probably not that far back. I’d say somewhere in the early to mid 1900s when some of those houses were built

Where theyd climbed trees to get away from water coming 60 feet outta river ane creek levels. Such as people being found dead in tents ⛺ from hypothermia who had no way to start a fire 🔥 cause everything they had was totally washed away. My heart goes out to all the people of Western NC and East Tennessee, Northern Ga. Parts of Virginia & Florida who was effected by that. God Bless them all.
Hope I did not miss one's Birthday at all! Jennifer did talk about it a while back. Happy Birthday again and many more to come. I still like to watch one build. I can see the doggies are close on by they are working too! Trust me on this one. Mine kept me company no matter what! They slept near my bed and I would reach on down and pet them. She would come by and smell me to see if I was ok every several hours. Kena was her name. I called her Miss Besty too. If one would watch me play with the doggies, I get very silley, the silley I get the better they like it. I can bark them a Christmas song! Woof Woof Woof.... Ha ha ha. I know all the screws and nails are expensive to buy today! Hopefully one can get some more nails and screws. I like the build and to watch one put it all together. They have a song Let's put it all together! Am not feeling well today, yet I am moving about some. Time for me to get off of the neighbors internet they are going to be getting up. Am not sure if one's neighbor is still there the guy who does metal work and I liked the animals he has too. Try to remember that I am the guy who has a lot of tools. Some one could possible use, the rest can be sold off down there to others. Before Sears when out of business I bought a set of wrenches the big one's and they are still in the box. She doesn't like it cause my place is not as clean as she would like it to be. When I am out helping others in recovery, I want my place lived in. As long as I can stand it. The street people took from me two scooters and this set me back finicanically. Two lawn mowers that were locked up. The transmission to my truck, the cross over framing to the one ton chevy truck a 1991 crew cab in good condition. Got it from West Viriginia, Parkersburg where they have 30 car lots. I will go. Paul

Thank you for the kind words, we're glad you enjoyed the video.

If you can find a couple of Lightning rods from an old barn somewhere, it would go a long way in collecting the Juice. Good Job
I remember the old barns and even houses with rods probably not that far back. I’d say somewhere in the early to mid 1900s when some of those houses were built
I remember the rods, the 4-0 braided aluminum cable on standoff brackets so you didn't burn the barn down when they took a hit. @@SmokyMountainOutpost
Door looks great Richard those doors at the lumber yard are way too expensive now you have a better product
Yes, I was very happy with how they turned out and how much we saved by making them ourselves!
Happy birthday sir
Thank you very much. Hope all is well and you have a blessed week.
Antique wooden decoy Duck? 6’1 or shorter coming up the stairs lol❤

that door really popped when you put the finish on i!
It did didn’t it. I always enjoy burning the wood and putting the oil on it to see what kind of grain pattern I’m gonna have.
