- Today We went on the yearly Trick or Treat night. Not gonna lie, It was very laid back. No scary stuff. No guys jumping out at you. I miss that. Maybe next year I take a street and make it the scare street haha. Thanks for watching and being here with my family.

You're exactly right Roman, it's not like the good old days. Heck the neighborhoods I lived in, in Belgium, Virginia and Maine, you could go around for hours up to almost midnight playing games, trick or treating and just having a plain good old time. the man said that there were a lot of kids this haloween which he wasn't expecting therefore he was handing out one piece of candy to each child which is fair because he wanted to make sure every kid got a piece it's not their fault you should be grateful for whatever you get not demand a handful of candy?

We carried pillow cases as well!! I lived in a small town so we went to every house possible, they gave out so much candy we would drop stuff off and go out for round two!! We had chainsaw guys & everything! Everything is so different bc I think parents get easily offended or upset when people have chainsaws and stuff. I’m sure you just have to find the right neighborhood!!

Weird trick or treating not on the 31st. Everywhere I have ever lived only does it on the 31st and no ones starts before 5:30pm or later with last ones around 10pm.
In the UK ours is on the 31st too and no one goes out till it dark so that's about 6 or 6:30 and it just depends on where you live where people stop coming to your door

Why have I only just discovered you guys. You're brilliant!
Im a daily contacts wearer and watching Brit trying to put them in made me cringe soo bad. Even i cant directly put them in straight over my eye. I have to turn my head and look to the side in the mirror to me able to put them in. Put the contact on your pointer finger & then use your middle finger to hold your bottom eyeliner down and then use your other hand to hold your top eyelid open. if you put them on so you make contact with the whites of your eye rather than the front of your eye and then look to the other side to centre the contacts it works a dream every time ! The first time i tried that method was a blessing to me, had always struggled putting them in before then and so would only wear my contacts if i had so much time to get ready or if it was a for a special occasion.
Trcik or treating when I was a kid early 90's was crazy. Usually got a pillow case to tak e out and was able to fill it easily, people gave out more candy back then too. I remeber we would always know of the scary houses and left those till the end of the night so it was super dark out. These days I get kids coming in to my store trick or treating days before halloween. Things have changed too much!

The best way to put in contacts is to use your pointer finger of your opposite hand to hold your eyelid up and then your middle finger of the hand you are putting the contact in with to pull the bottom of your eye down. Then use your pointer finger on the same hand that you are pulling the bottom of the eye with to put in the contact. And look up, use your finger to feel for the eye. If you aren’t looking directly at it, it makes it easier to put in. The contacts once it touches the eye it should “stick” you should have to watch for it to go in. I normally would blink a few times after I got it in just to make sure it felt okay and wouldn’t come out. Hope this helps for next!

I am 56 an im with you Roman. I had a pillow case my mom always fed us sloppy joes n the minute it got dark we were off around the entire subdivision both sides of the streets. We came back with louds of candy often the pillow case had a hole worn from dragging it!! then we would dump all of it out on the family room floor n seperate it into all the different kinds. My dad would sit on the front porch in a rocking xhair with a blanket and pretend to be asleep....sometimes i think he was!!!! Then he would wake up n scare tbe kids!!!!

I am much older, 49, but when I was a kid trick or treat was kids running everywhere, crazy scary costumes and people chasing after you with the chainsaws & knives, jumping out from behind bushes...........and it was always always always extremely DARK!! S C A R Y!!! To this day, because of all that, Halloween still makes me kinda anxious & on my guard for something jumping out to get me!! 👻💀👺

Different areas around here have Halloween on different days so you can go to multiple places. Like a town around us has Halloween on the 30th and the next one over has it on The 31st. Then you get more days to trick or treat!

Just wanna talk about the eye surgery, So my dad did that eye surgery about 6 years ago, was basically completely blind before he needed these super strong glasses, after he got the eye surgery he sees super well, far and close and will probably not touch a pair of glasses ever again, Really worth it, u should totally do it

When I look back, I also think about the good stuff first, but when you think a bit harder you will see that most houses weren't decorated, you didn't get good candy, lots of people gave you fruit, nobody had chainsaws to scare you
