I would assume its convenient to the elderly, as there are many senior citizens living in the heart of Marine Terrace, and Marine Crescent that might have difficulty walking, so putting 134 at the bus stop closer to both the station exit AND traffic light was the right move in my opinion 😅
For me I feel that bus stop opp Bugis Junction should be split into two. They can retain the bus stop name but have to split into two like these. Bus service like 12e, 851, 851e, 960, 960e and 980 can use the current bus stop while the rest can use the bus stop further behind....
sadly sg doesn't do triple staggering only double 😂 cos opp bugis junction B07 and bugis mrt stn B09 are already a stagger the closest you have is kranji mrt lol
I guess yes they should make more but gotta look into how and where each bus is. Would be hassle for bus transfer if you need to walk to the other side Usually 2to5min allighting bus before boarding bus will be just nice (Pre check bus stop before u take bus at 1st bus stop) But if gotta walk over , den gotta see liao..
Serangoon (NEL) MRT should revert to Staggered Bus Stop format for buses heading to Woodleigh Interchange like TEL Marine Parade (Exit 2) , this will be up to LTA to decide when they'll re-use the abolished part.
Because you need to cross the entire road in order for you to turn right into former Jurong Road / current PIE. And because the traffic is super hectic, it is a must to put B signal & staggered bus stop for 174
Its all good until you are transferring bus and u need to walk to the other side. And your allighting bus is just 1to2min before your boarding bus. Talk about planning your bus transfer timing..
Good luck to the folks there at Marine Parade/East Coast. You have 1 MRT station, 2 bus stops to run to & finally miss the bus because of a pillar or 2 standing in the way. 😂😂😂 What you vote, is what you get.!
I feel that Marine Parade area is too congested and developed already (one of the most developed towns in the country tbh) with amenities and residential flats around, that some services have to be straggered a bit away from the bus stop adjacent to the station. Thank goodness now there is an MRT Station (alongside Marine Terrace) serving the developed area 🎉
Rubbish. LTA sucks and fail big time. I staying here for more than 35 years, So this arrangement is pure foolish and just a cover up excuses for the useless LTA.
I do wonder why 134 is in the other bus stop then, as it only goes to marine terrace.

Reasonable point👍🏻
Nice video! I think it would be very beneficial if the LTA made similar arrangements to other MRT stations wor!

2 32 130 shifted from B07 to B09 like almost a decade ago

Tats really sounds a great idea for 15 and 966 BCs
As a person that lives at marine terrace I agree and they change the bus stop name
TPE punggol bus stop has also staggered
Its kinda like the one at Bukit Batok Road b4 PIE where 174 calls at one while 157 and the rest call at the other
Because you need to cross the entire road in order for you to turn right into former Jurong Road / current PIE. And because the traffic is super hectic, it is a must to put B signal & staggered bus stop for 174
Doesn't the bus stops along eu Tong seng St infront of defunct New Bridge Road terminal also like that
Its opposite. You have buses from Kampong Bahru Terminal & those from Bukit Merah
Its all good until you are transferring bus and u need to walk to the other side.
And your allighting bus is just 1to2min before your boarding bus.

It feels unusual for two separate bus stops to share a stop code when normally they would be split into xxxx2/xxxx3 or xxxx7/xxxx8
@@AridChannelOfficialSG TPE Punggol Road shares the same code
LTA should built a bus lots for 15 & 966 BCs to have a short breaks

Because too many bus services going to Marine Parade that's why need 2 bus stop to be separated
True, that area is really too developed alr even before the MRT Station came in
