I think she showered and got made up for xmas dinner about 3 to 4 pm afternoon before. Sat at their hosts house and didn't get dirty. The next morning she's planning on getting luggage and little kids ready to get on private plane. Is the plan to sleep in her clothes and shower after landing next morning? Perhaps if you were flying commercial you would be glammed up more for general public, but she knows the lone pilot doesn't care. Just a thought.

Speaking of lazy housekeeping, the home was always a disaster from the photos we see online. Why was the housekeeper so lazy? I always wondered what the housekeeper was paid to do. She certainly wasn’t cleaning 🧼. The home could have looked beautiful however you couldn’t see it for the mess, clutter and dirt.

I would like to say that as a housekeeper to various people over 37 years ( and counting), with some families it’s truly a thankless job. I’ve gone once / twice a week for some people and it’s a constant mess like the first time you did it. You can clean and tidy over a two or four hour period but if there is no effort made to do the basics in between then the result is the Ramsey home.

Some families put limits on the staff as far as access to rooms.. weekly or monthly.. sometimes yearly tasks. For example, children’s rooms may have been off limits except for certain times each yr. beginning of school, directly before or after Christmas etc. It looks as if the Ramsey’s housekeeper was employed to do more “as needed” type work. imo

I think the noise the neighbor heard was either JonBenet's head being bashed in or the clank of Burke's bat being thrown outside because they found his bat outside in the back or side of the yard somewhere and didn't they test it and find fibers from the basement or something? Also I think the reason they stayed together was for Burke and because Patsy didn't want to work and because they both had secrets they knew about each other that could land them in prison, and being divorced they aren't able to lean on each other and could end up confessing to a BFF. Also, we're they able to thoroughly search the house for the rope and duct tape before Patsy's sister came in and could potentially collect the items for them?

The house doesn't look like anything has been done since the Dec 23 party. I see bagels in a photo that must be from Christmas breakfast or lunch still sitting there. Or maybe they were afraid JB was going to tell or maybe Burke saw it or saw something

Old houses like that quite often have hiding places. I once lived in an old house in London, where there was a totally concealed small space under the floor, where you could easily hide something and nobody would find it. It has also been the case that murder weapons have been found by accident, in buildings where crimes have been committed, sometimes decades later, although the premises were meticulously searched by detectives at the time of the crime. ;))

SUSPECT LINDA PUGH - FACILITATOR Her goal was to get John Ramsey to go down to the basement to open the inground safe in the "Wine Cellar." Pugh had discovered this safe in November when the Ramsey's left her with the run of the house while they shopped in NYC. She was tasked with taking Christmas trees upstairs and washing windows while her husband Mervyn was to fix the broken basement window. (He didn't fix it.) The trees were found in the same room as the inground safe.
Pugh had the key to give access without breaking and entering, knew where to find objects to confuse the case like Burke's knife she had hidden. She would have seen the semen stained duvet in John Andrew's Samsonite because she was in charge of the laundry. She knew the location of Patsy's notepads and pens and she had helped herself to identical pads and pens as the BPD discovered them in her house on 12/26/97. She knew the best location to put the three page ransom note because she knew Patsy took the back stairs first thing in the morning. She knew the amount of John's bonus which was on every check stub he got in '96 and tucked away in drawers. Pugh had copies of Patsy's handwriting since Patsy would write out Pugh's work assignments. Pugh bragged about this in her chapter of a book she called "The Death of an Innocent." Her motive was money from the safe. She needed to be away from the crime scene, and still have JB controlled. She needed to get someone to write the ransom note to make it look like Patsy's handwriting. Both she and Chris Wolf knew Santa Bill.
SUSPECT CHRIS WOLF - MASTERMIND Chris Wolf had writing like that of the Ransom Note. imgur.com/r/JonBenet/8Ha6H4C
"Forensic document examiner Lloyd Cunningham cannot eliminate plaintiff(Wolf) as the author of the Ransom Note. (SMF ¶ 279; PSMF ¶ 279.) Plaintiff's ex-girlfriend has also testified she believes that he is the note's author. (J. Brungardt Aff. ¶ 43.) Carnes Report
He was in to foreign intrigue and had blamed John Ramsey for the sale of arms to Third World Countries. Wolf was a former male stripper, rock climber, convicted sex offender and a journalist. He had had Santa Bill AKA Professor William McGovern, was his faculty adviser at the U of Colo in the Master's Degree Dept. of Journalism. Wolf expressed hatred for John because he believed John's company, Access Graphics was selling arms. He wrote about it both before and after the murder. The letter Carol McKinley of Fox News got from Wolf would have been shared with her friend Steve Thomas. Thomas should have realized that this was the same motive Wolf's girlfriend Jackie Dilson had told him. Brought in in January Wolf refused to cooperate and even had to be hobbled yet he was let go for another 13 months. When brought back he still was not thoroughly investigated. Despite no alibi for that night his computer was not seized even though he'd asked Dilson's daughter's boyfriend how to wipe it clean and he was not administered a lie detector test.
Thomas' informant about Wolf, Jackie Dilson, was deemed unreliable even after Thomas' "friend" Carol McKinley of Fox News received a letter from Chris Wolf substantiating the very same motive Dilson had told Thomas - animosity toward John Ramsey calling him a "Merchant of Death."
BPD Police Chief Beckner Deposition Wolf v Ramsey Q: Lin Wood A: Mark Beckner5 Q You've got writings that indicate some6 admitted dislike for Lockheed and suppliers of arms7 to Third World people. Chris Wolf, you found that out, didn't you? A: Yes.
      ANIMOSITY EXPRESSED AFTER THE MURDER:
Wolf Deposition Wolf v Ramsey Q: Lin Wood A: Chris Wolf
      Q. You wrote that John Ramsey is one of those who had been called the merchants of death; did you not? A. Yes, I wrote that.
*WOLF SHOWED PEDOPHILE TENDENCIES - (LETTER TO FOX NEWS): "We've seen the videos of the little girl in the costumes with the hip thrusts. Everyone who thinks a grown man couldn't possibly ever have sex with a six-year-old girl has got their head so far buried in the sand that that's exactly where it should remain so as to spare the rest of us the tyranny of their ignorance."
*WOLF HAD SHIRT WITH SBTC "SANTA BARBARA TENNIS CLUB" Q. Have you ever had a T-shirt or sweat shirt with the name Santa Barbara on it? A. Jackie's son gave me a T-shirt with the name Santa Barbara on it.
*BPD DISMISSED WOLF WITHOUT PROPER INVESTIGATION:
Wolf v Ramsey Case. Q: Lin Wood A: Chris Wolf
Wolf had no alibi, had to be hobbled yet still gave not information. No warrants were sought for his computer, clothing, or HiTec boots. He was not asked to take a lie detector test.
Wolf: "I had initially been pulled in when John Eller told me, "We have no interest in you in this case." The second time was when Carey Weinheimer told me, What are you worried about? You don't have anything to worry about"

      A. Yes, I did. I think I recall receiving this letter.

      A. Yes.

McReynold's own daughter had been 'kidnapped' 22 years to the day along with a friend. ODDLY, only the friend had been sexually accosted.
SUSPECT MICHAEL HELGOTH - MUSCLE MAN:
Helgoth had spliced together video clips. One was of a Santa Claus waking up a little girl. Mervyn Pugh, Linda's handyman husband, knew Michael Helgoth, an electrician. Helgoth told John Kenady at the end of November he had a "killer deal" to make fifty to sixty thousand dollars at the end of December with a partner to get the same amount. Helgoth was a sadist and a pedophile. The BPD ignored this information.
The BPD looked at Michael Helgoth's dead body and called it a "suicide'. However, Helgoth was right handed and the body was shot through a pillow into his left side in an upward trajectory. There were stun guns, Hi-Tec Boots and a hat with SBTC on it near his corpse. The autopsy revealed he had TWO strong DEPRESSANTS in his system and would have been barely conscious and unable to resist when shot.

    LINDA PUGH
    1.RANSOM NOTE:
*PREMEDITATED and written PRIOR to the murder. LOU SMIT: " I think this note was written before the murder. It was written in a very calm, precise manner." Patsy would have been anything but calm. The ransom note original copy was then copied on Patsy's pad using her Sharpie. Linda Pugh knew where the pad and pen were kept.
The Ransom Note was found right where Patsy left her work instructions for Pugh on the bottom of the Spiral Staircase. Pugh knew Patsy went this way to the kitchen in the morning to make coffee.
*PUGH KNEW PATSY'S HANDWRITING AND EXPRESSIONS AND HAD MANY EXAMPLES OF THEM: "One of the ways in which Patsy Ramsey would communicate with me was through handwritten notes, which she would leave for me with instructions for various duties around the house that needed my attention. In the fourteen month period that I worked for the Ramsey's, I was left several dozen handwritten notes by Patsy Ramsey. I am quite familiar with her handwriting, and I believe I can recognize it with very little difficulty. The ransom demand asked that the money be put in an attach, with a proper accent mark over the last "e" in attach. "The Death of an Innocent."
*PUGH HAD IDENTICAL NOTE PADS AND PENS IN HER HOUSE: SEARCH OF PUGH'S HOUSE 12/26/96 www.acandyrose.com/s-linda-hoffmann-pugh.htm 12-26-1996 "Gave Cops Fred Patterson, Greg Idler: 3 Rolls Blk Tape, White Lined Note Pad that Came from Ramsey's house, 3 Felt Tip Pens, 2' narrow rope, A rope around a stick." Even an idiot police force should have realized the significance of this which is only one of many, many mistakes made by the BPD. WHY WAS SHE DROPPED AS THE TOP SUSPECT???????????
    2. BED WETTING CONTRADICTION: Linda Pugh: "Patsy's just the most wonderful person I've ever met in my life."On National TV 1997. "She just put a plastic cover on the bed. No big deal to her. By the time I'd come in the morning, Patsy would have all the sheets off the bed and in the laundry. Lawrence Schiller, "Perfect Murder, Perfect Town."
*LATER CONTRADICTION: "You took her into the bathroom. It was the same destination you always took JonBenet when it was time to punish her for bedwetting. You forget that I saw you take her there so many times before, shutting the door tightly behind you, so her screams could not be heard." "The Death of an Innocent" Linda Pugh "www.reddit.com/.../linda_hoffmanpugh_started_to.../
*THE TRUTH: "Authorities spoke to every maid (WHICH INCLUDES PUGH) every babysitter, au pair, gardener, everyone who had interacted with the Ramseys, to find out the relationship among family members. Turns out that the family was very tight." www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x3wx4
    3. INSIDER KNOWLEDGE - At Thanksgiving the Ramsey's went to NYC and left Linda Pugh and husband Mervyn with complete run of the house. They were to take Christmas trees upstairs, to wash windows and Mervyn, to fix the broken basement window.
With the RAMSEY'S away Pugh had access to every nook and cranny of the huge house. Pay stubs from '96 were left in drawers and every one had the "95 Christmas bonus of $118 thousand listed. Yet Pugh LIED again. She said she did not know about the room where JB was found but that is where she took the Christmas trees from at Thanksgiving when the Ramsey's were in NYC. "I didn’t even know that room was there. How could a stranger know to go there? How in the world did this happen?" -Linda Hoffmann-Pugh (p 238-9) SHE DID KNOW ABOUT THAT ROOM. SHE LIED.
    4. *BURKE'S KNIFE: Pugh said that only she knew where she hid Burke's knife and then switched to only the Ramsey's knew where the knife was hidden. "After Thanksgiving I took that knife away from him and hid it in the cupboard just outside JonBenet's room. That's how that problem was solved." ”'That showed up where JonBenet was," said Hoffmann-Pugh. 'I would stake my life that an intruder wouldn't know to get that out of the cupboard. Someone took that knife out of the cupboard WHERE I PUT IT."' "Hoffmann-Pugh SAID SHE DIDN'T TELL JONBENET'S PARENTS WHERE SHE STOWED THE KNIFE." www.acandyrose.com/s-evidence-knives.htm
    5. THE LOAN "I was supposed to come back the next day, December 24, and clean up. I called Patsy and said I couldn’t. I told her I had a fight with my sister and needed some money to pay the rent. I asked Patsy for a $2,000 loan. I told her I would pay it back $50 each week." "PM,PT" So she was afraid to get evicted but SHE DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO COME GET THE MONEY.
    6. BASEMENT WINDOW She said she didn't know about the broken basement window John broke in the summer although her husband Mervyn was supposed to fix it at Thanksgiving when the Ramsey's were in NYC. She helped Patsy clean up the broken glass. SHE LIED.
    7. SBTC She told the police John had a plaque with SBTC on it but the name of the Philippine naval base where John received it was called Naval Base SUBIC BAY and NOT Subic Bay Training Center. Two co-conspirators had items of clothing with SBTC on them. (Chris Wolf, sweat shirt and Michael Helgoth, hat) SHE LIED.
    8. FECES ON CANDY BOX She originated the story about JB's Christmas candy box being covered with feces but she was not in the house after the 23rd. She said: "After they sealed off JonBenet's room, the crime scene technicians went through it, they apparently found feces smeared on a box of candy she had got for Christmas." HOW COULD SHE HAVE BEEN PRIVY TO THE WORK OF THE CRIME SCENE TECHNICIANS?" www.thesun.co.uk/.../jonbenet-ramseys-disturbed.../ "JohnBenet Case - Damaged Elevator Door & Possible Unflushed Toilet." While Patsy was shown photos #243-245, the sworn deposition about the matter of the basement toilet was conducted by Det. Tom Haney and Prosecutor Trip DeMuth in which they questioned Patsy about it.
PR: I specifically asked Linda sometime in the not so distant future to go down and and clean that bathroom because I think one of the boys had used it and not flushed it."
Staging the crime scene would explain the feces smearing WHY HASN'T THE BPD RUN DNA tests on them?
    9. PUGH KNEW SANTA BILL who told Jonbenet he was going to bring her a present after Christmas. "I stuck around with my daughter Ariana to see Santa. This year Mrs. Claus was there too. Santa looked kind of sick." PM,PT" 00. 1996-12-24: JBR: "Santa Claus promised that he would make a secret visit after Christmas" (PMPT Pg50sb) 00. 1996-12-24: JonBenet insisted. "He said this would be after Christmas. And it's a secret." (PMPT Pg50sb)

In a real kidnapping scenario, it's easy to imagine that a businessman like John would take the lead in making the 911 call. And why would anyone read a ransom note and return it to the stair step as if they never picked it up? Are we to picture them on their hands and knees reading that long letter? Not convinced Burke was involved in whittling or toggle making for the purpose of this crime. Always a chance that the killer/stager grabbed items that Burke had played with before and thought “these will do just fine.” And kids bring all sorts of little treasures into the house -maybe the nylon cord (that has no original source) was just a small length of cord that Burke found somewhere and brought into the home. Great video! Jonbenet ate pineapple- that’s a fact and a very important fact. Extremely unlikely that an intruder would’ve fed her pineapple. Pineapple means JonBenet either never went to bed or got up after John put her in bed. The fact that the duct tape and rope could not be found in the home doesn’t mean too much to me. They could’ve hidden it well, Or could’ve been hiding in plain sight and disposed of it later. When was the house searched? Was Patsys purse ever searched?

One of my clients' Boston house is a brick 1920's house with many additions added on over the years and is very, very similar to the Boulder house. The whole street is dismal to me, all the houses are of that style, and I wouldn't buy that house in Boston for $440,000 never mind the $4.4 million Zillow Zestimates at. The neighborhood is close to downtown and the hospitals and this guy is on the board at Brigham and Women's. All the lots have mature landscape though, and are almost always over an acre in that neighborhood. S**t house, nice location. Many of my clients live between 3 and 4 houses in the area and maintenance is often forgotten or focused on which house they are living in more at the time. Some clients have strange taste too, it's like "you want me to do what to your house???" type of s**t.

IMO I believe PR wrote the note and that she never slept that night. From my readings it seems the kids didn’t really have a bedtime routine and allowed/left to do as they liked. IMO I think JR did go to bed and PR was the one who was still up packing while both kids still awake playing eating a snack. At some point PR was faced with finding JB already dead after a terrible display of rough play with “someone” and she went into panic mode to protect that person. With PR clothing particles found on JB body I think they were transferred when PR checked JB for any signs of life and found none. Now, knowing she was dead with bindings on her hands and choked already to death with a garrote, PR went into a frantic cover up mode. IMO PR covered JB with her favorite blanket/nightgown maybe even placed the tape over her mouth as her mind was set to make this a staged/Kidnapping to protect another. IMO I don’t believe PR choked her daughter to death and fashioned that garrote. JB didn’t died from the blow to her head no outward signs of blood or skin even broken so that’s why IMO PR didn’t do this. JB did struggle against the garrote as evidence of her own nail marks on her neck as she tried to grasp at the cord around her neck. I just don’t think PR was that kind of a monster, to watch her daughter struggle like that. As they say no blood or broken skin to the head was visible so why stage this all ??? IMO JB had to have been found dead by her mother already and then started the cover up with the ransom note, tape, blanket and nightgown next to her. IMO the tape was part of the staging because of the mucus found that dripped from JB nose/mouth underneath the tape so it was placed on JB after death. IMO that’s why PR clothing fibers were found on the sticky side of that tape. I have an open mind on the case even still and as a mother myself (I would still rather believe in an intruder theory just because this is so gruesome on many levels. I have a very hard time getting behind the idea that PR was the actual killer and did “everything” herself over an accidental blow to JB head. Nor do I believe PR would even think of fashioning those kinds of knots and fashion a garrote and choke her daughter while she watched JB scratching at that cord and adding onto stabbing JB genitalia. Sorry I don’t see a mother doing all those things to her daughter with life left in her. I think PR would have called 911 if she found JB unconscious with a faint pulse/heartbeat and would find a clever enough way to explain away why her daughter fell. As a mother she would have had an opportunity to possibly save her daughter and I do believe PR would have done so if given the opportunity. I believe she loved/cherished JB dearly.

Toggle rope. What is weird to me is that obviously someone changed that "leash" to a garrote. Somebody had the guts to strangle that girl with real force. It's very difficult to imagine that parents could do this unless they were already known to be criminal. But then they top it off with VERY LOOSE ties around the wrists, as if to say "don't want it to hurt her". Makes zero sense.

Yes it is difficult to imagine her parents doing that. But the evidence of an intruder just really isn’t there. The evidence points more toward her parents. The DNA that was found is so minute. They call it touch and it is a mixture of DNA. It could’ve come from anywhere, it could’ve come from the people in Indonesia who made the underwear. For many years I thought there’s no way her parents to do this. But when I really dug into it, Started doing the research, I realized it was probably her parents covering up an accident or Molestation or incest. It’s hard to believe, it’s sad to believe, but when you look at the evidence And the sequence of events it all leads to her parents, an inside job. There is no question in my mind that Patsy wrote the ransom note. The fact that they deny that she had pineapple before she went to bed is an obvious lie.
There’s no way an intruder fed her pineapple.

The pyjama bottoms on the bathroom floor (perhaps evidence of bedwetting) and the pineapple in Jonbenet's duodenum make me suspect Patsy of being involved in the initial serious head trauma. It takes 3-5 hours for food after swallowing to enter the duodenum so that rules out Burke hitting her over the head immediately after pinching some of his pineapple. The hand made ''garrotte'' may have been constructed with the help of John due to the knot, they had hours to stage the crime scene before calling the police . Just my speculations and thoughts, I have not read any books on the case so could be way off.

All evidence leads to John.....you have to look at the big picture....(Nancy Drew channel) zoomed in on John's usual handwriting and the note. 100% John's. John had a plan...to fly Burke and Patsy to their other house then fly back to get rid of her little body. Patsy only read.,.we have kidnapped your daughter. Patsy called police. John assumed she read if you call police your daughter will be killed but Patsy only read the first line as all mothers would. Police were coming to the house so John had to change his plan. John's new plan was to mess the crime scene up. Autopsy revealed long term S abuse. I believe John took Jon Benet to the basement and allowed her to have a piece of pineapple. At this point John knew nothing of the autopsy. I believe John staged the table to confuse and lead police in a different direction. He put a bowl Burke used and with Burke and Patsy's fingerprints on as a red herring.

@@lisakaye3919 I agree with you about the blow to the head not coming first. There was a LOT of other things found in the house not traced to the Ramsey's. The most significant was the DNA found in THREE different locations. Under JB's fingernails, in her underpants and on the leggings near the waistband. None of that DNA was from the Ramsey's.
"The black duct tape used on JonBenet's mouth has also not been sourced to defendants. (SMF ¶ 170; PSMF ¶ 170.) Both ends of the duct tape found on her were torn, indicating that it came from a roll of tape that had been used before. (SMF ¶ 171; PSMF ¶ 171.) No similar duct tape was found in the house, nor is there evidence that defendants ever used or owned such duct tape. (SMF ¶ 172; PSMF ¶ 172.) Plaintiff also notes that the strip of duct tape found on JonBenet's mouth *1332 had a bloody mucous on it and a "perfect set of child's lip prints, which did not indicate a tongue impression or resistance." (PSDMF ¶ 53.) Animal hair, alleged to be from a beaver, was found on the duct tape. (SMF ¶ 183; PSMF ¶ 183.) Nothing in defendants' home matches the hair. (SMF ¶ 183; PSMF ¶ 183.) Dark animal hairs were found on JonBenet's hands that also have not been matched to anything in defendants' home. (SMF ¶ 184; PSMF ¶ 184.)
Several recently-made unidentified shoeprints were found in the basement, imprinted in mold growing on the basement floor. (SMF ¶ 151; PSMF ¶ 151.) In particular, a shoeprint of a "HI-TEC" brand mark on the sole of a shoe was found. (SMF ¶ 152; PSMF ¶ 152.) Defendants do not own any "HI-TEC" brand shoes, and none of the shoes found in their home match the shoeprint marks. (SMF ¶ 153; PSMF ¶ 153.) Another partial shoeprint was found near where JonBenet's body was found. (SMF ¶ 155; PSMF ¶ 155.) This shoeprint left only a partial logo. The owner of the "HI-TEC" shoe that made the shoeprints at the murder scene has never been identified. (SMF ¶ 154, 155; PSMF ¶ 154, 155.) In addition, on the wine-cellar door, there is a palmprint that does not match either of defendants' palmprints. (SMF ¶ 156; PSMF ¶ 156.) The individual to whom it belongs had not yet been identified. (SMF ¶156; PSMF ¶ 156.)
Finally, items were left behind that defendants assert they did not own. (Defs.' Br. In Supp. Of Summ. J. [67] at 18-19.) A baseball bat not owned by the Ramseys found on the north side of the house has fibers consistent with fibers found in the carpet in the basement where JonBenet's body was found. (SMF ¶ 185; PSMF ¶ 185.) A rope was found inside a brown paper sack in the guest bedroom of defendants' home, neither of which belonged to defendants. (SMF ¶ 181; PSMF ¶ 181.) Small pieces of the brown sack material were found in the "vacuuming" of JonBenet's bed and in the body bag that was used to transport her body. (SMF ¶ 181; PSMF ¶ 181.) Brown cotton fibers on JonBenet's body, the paintbrush, the duct tape and on the ligature were not sourced and do not match anything in the Ramsey home. (SMF ¶ 181; PSMF ¶ 181.)

Strangulation must have come first and she probably was already dead or near death when she received the blow to the head. I also exclude an accident like falling down the stairs, because every parent would call 911 and hope their child can be saved.there is also no reason to cover up an innocent accident. I believe she either died during a sexual abuse that included strangulation or she was strangled because one of the parents snapped and strangled her probably patsy!

In my opinion, patsy wrote the ransom note. There was some type of accidental Injury caused to jonbenet by patsy, which she was at fault for. I believe at the point of the skull fracture she was assumed dead. The staging of the strangulation came shortly there after - unfortunately she was still alive. Then patsy wrote the ransom note, no one else would write a 2.5 page ransom note using patsy pad and pen then put them back.
Do brain fingerprints on John and Burke to find out the real story.
I’d really like to know more about the plea bargain deal with patsy where she claimed Jonbenet fell down the stairs and hit her head on a blunt object.

  • @Olderthandirtcaligirl
    @Olderthandirtcaligirl หลายเดือนก่อน +1

From the very beginning, I felt that Burke did it. I think he was jealous of Jon Benet for many reasons, and he seemed a bit odd to me. His behaviors were more in alignment with a 5 year old instead of a 9 year old. His behavior and demeanor at the funeral was also bazaar. Perhaps the two kids got up after being put to bed and something happened to trigger him attacking her with a bat or other object. If Patsy heard something and arose to investigate, finding the death scene, I think she would have first been angry, but then gone into protection mode. She’s lost her favorite child, but doesn’t want to additionally lose her son. This is a woman who wouldn’t have a clue how a ransom note is written and therefore overdid it. She certainly ordered her son to go to bed and forget it. Put it out of your mind! And he did! She didn’t think about how odd the note being on the lower stairs would be. Fanned out all neat and orderly. I think that John, being an intelligent man, probably suspected the truth, but didn’t want to believe what his rational side was telling him. I could ramble on and on, but I think you understand my reasoning here. Quite possibly there’s many of us that might try to protect our remaining child. Even in interviews as an adult, Burke does not act or speak the way you might expect when discussing the event. He even smiles and laughs too much. Anyway, that’s MY take on it.
