    I would be so happy if you would make a video of different stages of your hair from the products you use, like when it’s over moisturized or weighed down, how it looks and identify it and then what to do about it. I can’t find a routine to stick to and need a little of your guidance ✨

    Your hair is lovely. Really enjoyed watching your journey. Similarly to you I was a late bloomer with my curls. As I got older, my curls continued to get tighter. This was a very informative video.

    Yesss to growing out the fringe! Until this year I had a fringe for 5+ years / all through uni, and seeing my forehead really took some getting used to! Loved this Hannah, saw a lot of myself in this! :) xx

    This video was very inspirational! I have kept my hair short and straight for so long and while the transition stage hasn't been too rough since my curls are pretty resilient, it's at a very awkward below shoulder length. The curly community has really increased my confidence to wear my hair natural and your videos always give me so much inspiration for my curly red hair potential! :)

    Such a good video! Thank you for sharing your journey 😁 it's crazy to think how many curly girls spend years straightening their hair, I can't believe I did it so often. So glad I found the curly community too, I've learnt everything I know from you and others 😘

    I am at the beginning of my journey with trying to sort my hair out. I also have to so that I can now show my 5 year old daughter how to look after hers. My hair looked so like yours all the way through your video except I have never managed to find my way back to the curls. Hopefully I will be able to now. Thanks for the inspiration.

    Gorgeous curls. I’m still struggling with protein and moisture...my hair feels best with moisturizing products, “protein” stylers and cleansers make my hair feel rough and tangly. But at the same time I don’t think I’m getting the definition or structure that I could. What stylers or other products would you recommend for a balance of the two?

  • @Ohthatamber
    @Ohthatamber 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I loved this video and it’s very motivating! I’d love to hear an updated routine of yours, I’m finding it confusing about getting a good protein / moisture balance with my hair and hearing about other routines helps. Your hair is so gorgeous 💕

    • @hanzcurls
      @hanzcurls  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! The routine I follow now is similar to my main curly hair routine vid, but I’d say I basically do exactly what I do in my Bounce Curl routine vid, regardless of what products I’m using. There’s also lots more info about products I use, and protein/moisture on my Instagram. I’ll do TH-cam vids on these in the future though ☺️

    omg you have same experience like me. I had curly hair when i was a small child with 5 i have lost my curls and they have become wavy and than when i was 14 they have come back. at this point i have hated them and have started to straighten my hair all the time. until 1 year ago now than i have found the chm and have tryed to bring my natural hair back. im still transision because of the heat damage from so many years (15 years of heat damage) but i love my hair already more than before my natural hair is more myself and i feel so mutch better with it than with straight hair :)

    Right now, my hair is in the stage here: 7:37. I want to get to your curls where they’re shiny, they look soft, but fizzy, etc.

    "I know a lot of you did that as well"
    Girl, that was me up until april of last year 🤣🤣🤣
    (I've seen a lot of people saying "you know how we straightened our bangs and had our hair wavy/curly, at the beginning of the 2010´s", but I was doing it up until I made the no heat for a year vow)

    Your hair is beautiful! I wondered if you could do a video about how you style and with what products you use when its humid/super sunny out! This past week i mustve washed it everyday in the 30 degrees🙈

  • @Hawkster9133

    I'm so glad I found your channel! This was super helpful. I'm 30 now and I've used a hair straightener on and off (mostly on) since I was 13. I've had every hair length under the sun including waist-length and a pixie cut. It's currently about collar bone length and I've only been getting it cut every 4 months but it's always super damaged by my next hair cut even though I only straighten or blow dry it with a round brush every 2 days and I always use heat protection spray.
    After watching your videos, I've started just washing it and letting it air dry while doing a lot of scrunching/hair-tossing and I am amazed at how much curlier it is. I realized that my mistake was using a wide-toothed comb on it AFTER coming out of the shower and it would just dry pretty much a shapeless mass. I'm still trying to figure out which hair-styling products work best for me but even without a mousse right now, I actually have pretty good curl definition. I'd like to figure out how to effectively diffuse it for the winter months, but so far, it just ends up super frizzy.

    I'd love to know whether there is a lot of curly hair in your family? I think I'm a 2b/c, but as far as I know there is no textured hair in my family so I'm wondering if that is even possible!

    People use to say I had a "five head" too. People also use to make fun of my button nose and now people contour theirs to have one. Kids can be cruel. But luckily I have grown to love my nose and "five head" lol

    How does your hair last all week!! My curls only look good for a few hours and then it’s just looks frizzy and dry. I’ve tried so many products I almost don’t want to wear my hair curly anymore.

    • @hanzcurls
      @hanzcurls  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! It’s about getting to the root of the issue, so if it gets frizzy really quickly, that chance are you need to add moisture. Also, using a stronger hold gel may help! Have a watch of my frizz video if you haven’t already x

    What products do you use now? My hair is exactly the same curl and porosity. Also do you dye it? I'm naturally a very light auburn like your before pictures and like to have it a rich auburn like yours now

    • @hanzcurls
      @hanzcurls  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! You can find more info about the products I use on my Instagram page! I don’t dye my hair - I’ve never dyed it, but it has darkened as I’ve got older 🧡

      My hair is dyed and I use henna to avoid the chemical damage! I do it myself at home with Caca Rouge Henna Block from Lush and it changed my life! I was a dark blond before and It cost me only about $30 a year to maintain!
