- Hiii guys!❤️ I am so lucky to have friends that live in another country so I get the chance to travel and see them. In this weeks video I go on a girls trip to Stockholm with my to childhood best friends from Iceland. We had such a cozy weekend and Stockholm never disappoints. I got the BEST swedish meatballs at a restaurant called Riche and I am still thinking about them🥹

I wanted to see it before the trip 😂 Everything I saw in Stockholm was very nice and beautiful, and people there were so fashionable like they seemed to know what will suite or looks good for them. I've loved the video; so aesthetically pleasing and full of amazing recommendations, as usual ❤ So, I've had this question running around my head for a while; I've heard from many people from one specific Scandinavian country moving to another (e.g. you or your friends are Icelandic and live in Denmark/Sweden). I know every country there has its own language, but how do you communicate? Is it easier for you to learn, speak or understand other Scandinavian languages? Do you always speak English with the locals? For instance, I'm Spanish and I wouldn't be able to speak Italian or Romanian if I moved to Italy or Romania, even though we share the same root (Latin). So sorry for the long paragraph, but I have always been curious. Plus, I've already commented this, but I'm so jealous at you wearing cozy clothes, here we still have about 25 ºC. Thank you 💖💖💖
hiii and thank you so much for your love and support, it means so much to me✨💘 all the languages here in Scandinavia can be quite similar, especially written, but the pronunciation and dialogue is the thing that separates them quite a bit. But these countries are all pretty international and are used to have to speak English so that is how I communicate with all of my friends here in Copenhagen that are not from Iceland🥰 hope that helps xx
No one understands Icelandic although some words are similar, so they communicate in English. As a Swede from the south I understand Danish quite well so if I go there I speak Swedish, but some words and dialects is very difficult. I think Danes understand me better than I understand them because swedes talk slower. Norwegian is very easy to understand as a Swede. So Scandinavians talk in their own language to each other but also mix with English sometimes.

I went in the beginning of October. It can be pretty warm in Stockholm during August so I would guess just shirts and thin jackets for the evenings
