MK14 has to be my most used DMR pre-buff, felt more controllable than the first two and had the full auto option in case someone jumps you. Only gripe I had was it felt harder to lead distant shots but now with the buff that makes it feel a lot more solid.
I've been running it with a midrange main and red dot top. Having a lot of fun. Plus I think I've had a few encounters with you Tono. You had me maybe 3 to 1 ..😅

5:58 Setup wise no matter what gun im using I opt for reload speed, urk grip and quick mag if the gun has it, and either vertical barrel or horizontal barrel depending on stat that is worse between the 2. maybe im weird lol. This is a bit of an X factor with this gun, but the sound profile of this gun makes it sound distant & dull. I have sat in a bush, shooting dudes 5 meters in front of me, & no one noticed me. Would definitely like to hear more of your opinions on gun balance. After playing with many different guns and noticing the strengths and weaknesses VS. play styles (Aggressive/Passive/Etc). I'd say balance is actually a lot better than what ppl say especially now. Recently grinded out the pp2000 for some attachments and went to some dmrs after the buff and I think because most ppl play very close up they tend to run into only smgs/ARs or maybe p90s. Once you play both ends of the battlefield whether close up or far away you start to realize you only get killed by guns really strong in their respective ranges more often then one gun type or one gun overall.
It's nice to see someone have a positive and mature outlook on playing games. You have a cool mix of casual playing for fun, while also topping the score board like a pro, lol. A lot of people rage every death, blaming lag, the game devs, team mates. It's cool that you stick with "that's a shame, I should have done this maneuver instead". It's a more respectful and fun attitude
the meta will always be mp7 and honeybadger and p90 and the like - because long range positions provide no cover and allow little flanking advantage (except for snipers)
i had 450 kills on the EBR before the buff. Now i have the freedom to add a heavy barrel and extended mag without sending my barrel to the moon after 1 shot
it's hard because that video today would be completely irrelevant 2 months from now, there will probably be even more reworks once new guns/updates keep coming out
awsome vid id really like to see a video about the svd i think its one of the most unique dmrs. also the loadouts you make in videos are amazing really great idea
Assault rifles could have better horizontal recoil and smgs could have better vertical. The damage drop off won't be needed as much if half the bullets won't land at 50+ meters. The fact that you can lean out with an smg and keep lazer aim at medium range and out range a rifle makes no sense to me..... I am ranting. Sorry. Still posting for the algorithm engagement metrics.

I think the smg sweats are gonna dominate as long as the smg are even remotely viable, even if assault rifles get a damage boost over distance, it's much easier to disengage from a medium to long range fight than it is to disengage from a short range fight.
I know it's silly, but somehow with the low recoil, the guns "feels" less powerful. I switch guns all the time (half the fun of the game for me is figuring out the different guns) but the EBR before its patch has been the one I used the "most". ie I have around 600 kills with it compared to the 300-ish I usually get before I tend to loose interest. I was thrilled to see how it would perform post patch and ... well it is much easier to use yes, better recoil, better velocity, and is thus a better gun... but it feels less impactful than it used to. Like with the VAL or the Honey Badger, while the changes are good for the efficiency of the gun, something has been lost in the process.
I’ve really felt the impact of the community servers and it’s not been great. Can’t even quick queue without being thrown in the same game or wait for long ass times with terrible ping. Any content I can see with the new weapons is alright to me so any gameplay is good gameplay! I’d like to see a full weapon list from you with your opinions on everything.

Servers are a mess right now. Im in EU and most of the time i need to play on US servers because there are no proper Dom/Frontline EU ones that dont lag.
Also every damn server is just Wakistan, and if you manage to join another map (immediately before losing) it will be Wakistan next. Plus with this patch, after people vote for Wakistan again you have ONE second to force close the game or you're forced into it.
If you equip a vertical barrel your vertical recoil on first shot is 1.56, with the stabil grip instead your first shot is 1.65, but even if it was lower I still wouldnt consider running it because the Mk-14 is full auto, even if it wasnt you have to wait for your recoil to reset to get first shot kick benefits even on semi auto
I gotta play the new one and see how much I will be shooting in full auto Btw the velocity change seems to be not implemented, in game its still stated as 700
Honestly rn dmrs against Snipers are pretty good because with dmrs it doesn't matter if you miss meaning you can shoot while strafing making the Snipers have a hard time dealing with you

Try bipod on it. Bipods on all DMRs are beyond broken rn, reducing recoil to practically zero.
This has been my favorite gun in every game since SOCOM 2 on PlayStation 2

And regarding the sound, the opposite is the case for the M110, it's so easy to hear exactly where the shooter is.

Yeah agreed, I am going to be doing a video like this when I hit 1000 kills on every gun, but I agree the balance is way better then people think

With such low base recoil I like going Long Barrel with Vertical Grip / BRK depending on general combat range.

I am not too sure, but generally the Vertical grip is really good, but I have not used the new m110 so I must have a go before I know
Its good but i think it needs a rework, you can use FAL as a dmr with the correct build and it feels better
