Hello and thank you for this video👍👍💯💯 I think you can also use that transfer foil on your nail designs. There's a nail foil glue called Makartt you use it with a UV/led light to cure it and then you can stick the foil on to your nails.🙂

For foiling the edges of cards with that glue I love the Ranger foils. They are stunning. The only downside is they are small sheets. I haven’t got to try the Gina K Designs foils yet but they look so gorgeous. And are bigger sheets, so I’m wondering how well they would work. For the scrunch technique, in the die cutting machine, I would stick with cricut foil for that, because it seems to scrunch well. Definitely don’t do deco foil. It absolutely won’t work. I absolutely do love the quality of the Ranger foil and believe it would hold up the best on a card front. Hope this helps. 🥰❤️

I think Xyron should sponsor you, you've done so much to make their machines useful. I've said it before, I was *thisclose* to just donating my Xyron machines because I didn't like they way they worked at all with all that glue bunching up on the outside of my die cuts and cardstock, and then I saw your first video about solving the issue with all that webby glue from the Xyron sticking to the borders of the die cuts. So, I kept my machines and will spend more money with Xyron on their adhesive rolls LOL! 👍💖

Love your tips on using the Xyron . Using the Xyron for the intricate dies is the greatest. Instead of getting out my Gemini after I watched your video for the intricate dies I just added some extra card stock and ran it through my Sizzix die cut machine, and it worked great.

Hi, can you use a regular die cutting machine, like a Sizzix or Spellbinders Platinum 6 instead of a Gemini or Switch??? Is it the thin embossing mat that is the key??? Can embossing mats from other machines work too??? Or is there something special about the Gemini mat??? Thank you!!!
The Gemini embossing mat is thin and it is key. 🥰 Other thin mats may possibly work but they need to be thin like the Gemini mat. I have all those videos to answer all your questions in the Best tips ever video series on my channel. Video tip#1 shows the Gemini machine. Video tip#2 shows the manual hand crank machines. You will understand everything by watching those videos. I explain everything there and why. But if you ever have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. 🥰 I will help in anyway way I can. ❤️❤️🤗
These where great hacks, but it was more hacks for foiling, rather than adhesive hacks. I was hoping you had hacks for wasting less adhesive when using Xyron. I love your hack to get rid of webs on intricate die cuts, it makes me regret throwing out my 5 inch Xyron machine. Is it true that Xyron refills can be used without a machine?
Hey there Bonnie! Hope you’re doing well! You can absolutely use the small 1.5 inch Xyron refill without the “X” housing. It actually helps to cut down on the waist and it’s actually not that awkward to use like that. If you need a video to show how it works, I can do that for you if you would like to see that. Now, for the bigger refills I would think it would be really hard to use without the hand crank machine only because you would have to pull the adhesive out evenly and hold it straight. Also you wouldn’t have the rollers to hold and press everything flat together. Which I could see causing a lot of problems and plastic going everywhere. But you can absolutely use the small 1.5 inch on its own. I actually would highly recommend doing that to save on adhesive. Have a great night Bonnie! 🥰❤️
Beautiful! Could you run through the die cutting machine again to adhere the foil completely?
I show in the video what happens when you do that. It’s the blue foil deckled foil rectangle that I do that to. You can see the results of what happens and it’s my new favorite thing! Hope this helps. 🥰❤️ You could try some paper shims to see how that works through. There are so many fun possibilities with this for card making. ❤️❤️❤️
