Don't use the word "easily" as the situation right now disagrees with your statement. All of them even Kafka is having problems dealing with No.9 because of his tactics. When we consider strength (as of now) it is multifaceted for No.9 can cause multiple catastrophes in order to weaken the force and put Kafka in the pedestal of win or lose
Kaiju no. 8 in his actual Kaiju Form isn't the strongest or has low resilience. But, when he possessed by Kafka or merged by Kafka, they became stronger. The reason why is that the Kaiju inside Kafka's body is struggling to survive by protecting his vessel, Kafka. It's like from the anime Parasyte, the Parasyte Migi. It seems Kaiju no. 8 was inspired by that series. In a sense, Kaiju no. 8 and no. 9 wasn't stronger in their actual form. They become stronger after adapting the body of their host. In Kaiju no 9's case, he became powerful by stealing intelligence from their vessel and the power of the Kaijus taken by their vessel that he acquired. He can create Kaijus, but was not powerful enough as the former Kaijus defeated by Defense Force. Kafka Hibino otherwise, doesn't need to steal Kaijus' powers to become strong. Because the Kaiju he possesses is becoming powerful through mutation.

Kaiju no. 8 (Parasite) and Kaiju no. 9 are the same species of Kaiju. The only difference is that, the way how they possesses their host. Kaiju no. 9 took his human vessel by eating or devouring their body. Meanwhile, Kaiju no. 8 did opposite way as no. 9 did. We don't know the real nature of the Parasite Kaiju no. 8 if he really is an evil Kaiju since, before he possess Kafka, he said he found him like he already planned to take over by him.

@@major70670611 It's a speculation bro. It never told in the Manga. But if you look otherwise and observe their characteristics, you will notice, that they seems like the same.
(The Kaiju who possessed Kafka do know how to speak human language. Which means, he's also an intelligent Kaiju. Kaiju no.9 also can speak (That's the first common between them). The second one, is they uses Human vessel as their host, which is unusual for ordinary Kaijus. They are like parasite invading Human's body. We don't know how Kaiju no. 9 possessed his first vessel. But I think, the process on how he took his vessel is also like what the original Kaiju who possessed Kafka to become no. 8. However, the Kaiju who possessed Kafka failed to control him or, rather that Kaiju has other motives in possessing Kafka (We don't know). Kaiju no. 9 as he became strong inside his host body, he could devour other humans and steal their body other than his original host. It's just my speculation, not yet proven. But its somehow obvious if you think thoroughly.

While he looked down on the humans in the first episodes, even appearing before them, in the second he made a shield, in case the first thing happens. Than he met the Kaiju 8, barely escaped, and realized it's better to learn chess, tactics and strategy, than go head on against Kaiju 8. The rest are spoilers.
What people need to understand is that Kaiju No. 9's ability is literally absorption to boost his own abilities plus creating kaijuus with ratings of above 9.0 with ease. He has taken Number 2's powers as well. Rn Kafka CANNOT solo him
Kaiju no. 9 isn't stronger than kaiju no. 8, kaiju no. 9 has a vitality of 8.5 and kaiju no. 9 has a vitality of 9.8.
