After centuries of Western administration, Africa remains relatively poor.
After twenty years of Chinese involvement in Africa, everyone wants a piece of Africa. I think Africans can decide themselves who they want to partner with.

As an African though and witnessing that leader of the second biggest economy in the world made it his priority that his first foreign visit abroad would be an African country is so significant. That level of attention or respect no African nation can ever conceive of getting from a western country. It's insane the level of respect.

America lifted China out of poverty and gave them outrageously generous trade deals to help uplift them out of poverty and hoped they would embrace freedom and democracy. But they didn’t. They’re a fascist dictatorship and has tried to stab America in the back every chance they get. They will enslave your children to pay for their elderly population. They have very low birth rates and have 1.3 billion people. Talking 300 million elderly people in their population and it’s going to continue to grow. They’re going to use Africa to be a welfare system for their elderly. Good luck. Don’t flee to America when they try to enslave you guy’s.

Only people who refuse to see the destruction done by the west are western people. They are benefitting from such destruction. The democrats instructed them to use mask and half of the country want to revolt. Lockdowns and they are ready to kill for their "freedom". I think the United States should focus on the United States at this point. Africa has more than enough resources and great minds to figure out solutions that are unique to their culture, values, customs, and tribe. It is hard for America to deal with it's current issues within it's own boarders at the present time due to the pandemic. Homelessness is rising and a great deal of infrastructure is crumbling that needs to be fixed or modernized.
I'm happy to hear of the progress China is making on the continent of Africa. The continent has great potential for sure and I'm excited to see its continued progress.

China's relationship is the best and those who see the danger are those who want to eat Africa alone. Sheer Greediness and only even a fool will see something wrong with China build hospitals, good communications facilities, good water supply, and bridges over hundreds of rivers with huge crocodiles, Energy and few KM across all African countries are not covered. China deals are cheap too and there is no comparison in this price with traditional powers who exploited and sold Africans for slavery and take their natural resources to their corporations for free have not enabled Africans to exit destitution. . The truth is that the China man did his homework well and is laughable for anyone to label China with anything or manipulate the public to fear China with this 10 to 15 years popular view called the "China Debt Trap" 🤣🤣🤣 Yes, there is 30% truth to that view, but the Public infrastructure investment boosts the productivity of all stakeholders and it will lead to higher output. There was no power doing what the Chinese doing right now. Right now you can drive safely with a sedan from Cape Town via the whole Namibia, Whole Angola, DRC, and to Tanzania and the entire SADC. China does not just build railways from mines to the little ports, but to the people and connect all communities with their fast rollout. These only greedy people even can argue with and Chinese make everything possible or life easier for village people with their affordable devices. This is not negotiable. you must also visualize the motive of those against China in Africa, they did not do what China did, but they are China this, China that.

Do you understand China was a third world country 30 years ago and America was responsible for building them into the second biggest economy in the world.. is China in debt? Has China done anything besides stab America in the back and steal their technology for their help? Russia sold China their fighter jets expecting to build a relationship and trade deal. China just bought a few stole the technology and then didn’t buy anymore of them.. China is committing genocide on the Uyghurs… yes America has failed the African continent and should have invested more into Africa. But you’re delusional if you think China wouldn’t hold a knife to your throat if they deem it necessary. Like how they organize trade deals with America for medicine and then when Covid hits they cut off supplies. China is an aging population.they plan on using your resources and potential to supplement their productivity when their population is no longer able to support their quarter billion elderly population. China is flat out lying claiming responsibility for lifting themselves out of poverty. America handed them everything on a silver platter hoping they would embrace democracy on their own. But no they’re a dictatorship with social credit scores and lock their people away for saying China is bad or they don’t agree with the Chinese government on a certain topic.

China is doing Marshall plan, how America help their European Breden after so called second world war.. The European and Western Countries exploit African Continent for hundreds of years, and the left it. The European and West see African Continent as thing to use, but Chinese see Greatness in Continent, Chinese is putting their Money for Pontial Market boom, and Future. Chinese now become a competitor with the West, and West doesn't like that. But is good for African Continent. The so called debt trap was the West philosophy, the IMF and World gave African Billions of Dollars as aid and give them war,and take back the Aid back, given us weapons. Chinese did not gave us War, instigaten tribal Conflict. Chinese only giving us development and infrastructure

In General, the US and western Nations used Africa since 1550(African slave labor) The exploitation and sale of African natural resources to western corporations have not helped Africans escape poverty.,instead brought WDD-War, Disease, Debt.
Since Africa started its relationship with China forgetting the propaganda (Debt) various developments are being seen.
The formal relations between China and Africa date back to the 1950s. While China depends on imports of products such as oil, steel, copper, and agricultural goods from Africa, Africa experiences tremendous economic growth as China offers a ready market for its commodities. Besides, China-Africa relations provide mutual political benefits. For instance, many African countries have been supporting China’s political agenda in the United Nation’s forums. No china Virus of Debt if every African country is responsible to pay back its debt. Debt from IMF,r the world bank is more than Virus.

The difference between the two is, the west exploits and crippled Africa with debts, while China delivers on it's promises though not so 💯 perfect. But the coming in of China in Africa and the massive infrastructure projects they have done and still do, makes the difference so glaring anyone can see. Advances in technology and the Chinese economy are very beneficial for developing countries
So that high-tech products become affordable, and China buys raw materials at reasonable prices, even China builds raw material processing factories in developing countries, thus creating jobs. before the progress of China, developing countries were exploited by means of developed countries selling their technological products at very high prices while raw materials from developing countries were bought very cheaply. This is a form of neo colonialism (new style of colonialism by using technology instead of using weapons). Those who are disadvantaged by China's progress are Western countries, the United States, Japan and other developed countries now they can no longer monopolize their technology because they cannot compete with high-tech Chinese products at affordable prices, China's progress improves human welfare, products that used to be expensive are now become affordable so that people with low incomes can buy their necessities because prices are cheaper, we as developing countries must be able to take advantage of the rise of China for the progress of our country. Now we can buy machinery and capital goods at affordable prices from China to advance the business world so as to increase people's productivity instead of buying consumer goods from China. The western countries of the United States and their allies spread hoaxes so that developing countries continue to be hostile to China, if we are influenced to become hostile to China, what's in it for us? With a simple logic, we are better off buying cheap or expensive goods for the same quality.

Human beings as sensitivities in cognitive and emotional terms are desires, thus are ambitions. In this perspective how human fulfilment for all is facilitated should be the measure of what we use to perceive and conceive our ambitions when dealing with each other as the beings who share the humanness.
In Africa there is a wisdom that goes, your right hand cleans your left hand and your left hand cleans your right hand. It is used to inculcate solidarity, mutual added value, interdependence.
Since humans write their history while living it, the ambition can be to write a a piece of that story that can be elevate at a rank of importance in human history.

@@Flower-ck2bs In what way it isn't investment? African countries select what project is build and CHOOSE the deals that best for them, in exchange they receive skill transfer and the ratio of the work is 70:30% local population to the Chinese. If African nations don't want that deal they are free to choose a better deal for themselves.

Flower, you're stupider than I thought. After 500 years of colonialism, the west has only F'd up Africa. China is doing business there so everyone can benefit ...... and they are doing it without giving Africans lectures or over throw their government or assasinate their leaders.
