I was at my parents house working on my chainsaw (in Texas) as the little kids were getting out of school. The school was down the street and is the same one I attended. The trash truck came through as this was going on. I walked out to the street holding the chainsaw and started bringing in the empty cans. A little boy was going to intersect where I was heading. He looked at me and slowed down. I looked over at him and He took off running and screaming! Trailing His papers. This was a little kid as it was mostly drawings and attempts at letters. I tried to gather His papers and chase Him down. Every time I’d get close, He’d find another gear and leave me in the dust! I asked all the rest of the kids if they knew Him but no one did. I still feel terrible after 50 years. He had good grades on His papers and I wantedHim to have them. No luck. I will answer for this when I die.

For whatever reason the 60s US tv sitcom 'Gilligan's Isle' episode where the radioactive vegetable seeds wash ashore comes to mind, ( only the castaways don't know they're radioactive). Maryann loves carrots and eats lots & lots of them and gets super eyesight as a result... I think my vision has improved slightly watching this big carrot.👀
