      I just got to the part of the video where you said you are a Patriots fan. As a Bills fan: 1. I hate your quarterback. I respect him, but I hate him. And 2. I appreciate that you see serious potential in Josh Allen. Not many Patriots fans see ANY potential from any Buffalo Bills player until Bill Belicheck steals him.

      Yep it’s nice to see an opposing fan being level headed. It’s like the bills fans who say Brady sucks. It’s like really? He is the best ever and it sucks we still have to put up with it lol. But I have a gut feeling with Allen. Never had that feeling as a fan before. I remember the kelly days a little bit since I was a kid and feel like he finally have the guy. Hope I’m right

      @@andrewcolvin7908 Echo these thoughts completely. I've been a Bills fan since the Kelly days and I feel now almost as excited as I did then. Hate the guys that do nothing but throw shade Allen's way despite never actually watching the games. Some want him to be bad because they predicted it around last years draft, then there are those that just say he's trash because they hear other people say it. I watched every snap of every game last season and I think if he has the right weapons and protection around him and the right scheme then the sky's the limit! Last year we had a bottom 5 o-line and receiving corps and that's probably being kind. This coming season both will have improved significantly, especially like the signing of Mitch Morse. I'm pumped and can't wait for the upcoming draft and new season. I think we'll go close to the playoffs this year but 2020 may be the year where things really click. Go Bills!
      Oh as for Brady, yeah he's probably the best ever, sticks in my throat a bit saying it but it's true. Can't wait for him to retire though!

    Josh also has shown great 'bouncebackability'. In other words, he isn't the kind of guy to let a bad play, or even a bad game get him down.
    See, for example, his performance at home to Miami last year. In the first half he threw a horrible pick 6 to let Miami tie the game. In the second he threw a few TDs and rushed in a TD from 35 yards.
    For that reason more than any, we might at last have a worthy successor to Jim Kelly.

    • @lewisclark1122
      @lewisclark1122 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Michael Wright There's no doubt that Allen needs to work on key parts of his game - like his accuracy - before we can say his is great. Based on his upward trajectory last year, and his attitude, I think he will keep getting better. At least to the point where e he might end up on Buffalo's wall of fame.
      As for becoming an NFL Hall of Famer? Too early to tell. He'd certainly need better players around him than the Bills had on the 2018 roster. And he'll need to avoid major injury. If those things happen, and he keeps getting better, the sky may be the limit.

    • @lewisclark1122
      @lewisclark1122 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Michael Wright on the other hand though, it might just be that some Bills fans (like me) ate getting carried away after seeing a few flashes of brilliance. The same thing happened when we had Fitzpatrick at QB.

    Don't forget that last year, Buffalo went into training camp with Josh sitting and learning with AJ McCarron in mind as the starter only to have Peterman take that position in training camp. The first half of the season was spent scrambling to find veteran backup/mentor QB's, patching up a front line and having to be content with an ineffective running game. This year, Josh will get the keys to the team car on day one with a team that will be built specifically around him.

      Fat lot of good having Mahomes did when that secondary shat the bed and threw the game versus the Patriots. Also there is no chance Mahomes does as well as he did at KC with Buffalo’s receiving corps.
      The point is moot either way. Chiefs have an awesome QB but no defense at all. Buffalo has a lockdown secondary but a question mark at QB. I’d rather have situation 2. Defense still wins championships

    It's really good to hear something positive about the Bills: especially from a fan of the top team of the same division.
    I'm originally from Mississippi (by way of Texas) and have called Buffalo my home for the last 14 years.
    Before moving here I wasn't an NFL, or any pro sport, fan. But becoming a Bills fan is a given after you're exposed to the passion this city has for its teams.
    I Billieve that this franchise finally has the ownership and leadership to finally make the Bills relevant again and that Josh Allen was the right choice to lead this team to the playoffs and beyond.

    Josh Allen is a stud. I don’t get why he gets so much hate. He’s played, what, 11 games?..
    In those games, with a below average wide receiving core, and o line, he showed flashes of “it”.. you know... something special.
    Amazing running, lots of great throws..just insane athletic ability.
    And you’re right when he came back from his injury there was a lot of improvement. Also, when he came back Robert Foster really came on (who I predict will also be a stud in this league, and now with better talent on the wr core he will be even better)
    Now allen comes back this season with a full offseason under his belt, and an upgraded wide receiving core and o line, and people are still sleeping on him. Great breakdown man. Subscribed

    Couldn't agree with this take more but I think the video Miss may be his greatest attribute. His ability to be a leader. It would have been so easy for Josh to blame his offensive line, his receivers not getting separation, virtually no Run game. But he kept saying I have to get better, and you could really see that towards the end of the season. His team loved him and rallied around his leadership the most important quality in a quarterback.

    One thing I wanted to note....
    Adding to your #1 reason why, being the improvement he made after injury...
    Something people don't take into account is the fact that the bills acquired Matt barkley, who is an absolute opposite of JA17. Barkley puts a lot of touch on all his passes, which was one of JA17s weakest areas.... After returning from injury and taking note of barkleys touch passing, I noticed an IMMEDIATE difference in Allen, Because he started to put touch on those mid range passes, which is a HUGE improvement to his game!

    Great content, and its refreshing to see a Pats fan that can look at things objectively. I think Allen has an unlimited amount of potential and am glad to see the Bills front office using this season to build around him. They were handcuffed by horrible dead cap space last season and they finally have a chance to really get some players in to help him at receiver, TE, and most importantly, O-line. With an improved O-line to protect for pass and open holes in the run game, as well as J. Brown and Foster on the ends to stretch the field, I think we'll see a return to a good rushing offense and more open receivers. This season will be a fun one for Bills fans, and hopefully make the afc east a bit more fun to follow. Sub'd

But normally with our sketchy ex gm that I dont even wanna say his name, it's considered a bad word around my house lol and endless carasul of coaches we always came out of free agency feeling confused and or dissapointed praying the draft would save us. That was the old Bill's. For example like we get a qb that lead the league in 20plus yard throws and now you beef up his protection and then keep foster who finished no. 1 in completions over 20 yards and then go get John brown wich so happen to be the no. 2 reciever on that same list . Another thing I noticed is we are finally going into a draft not being handicapped as to have to draft a certain position that we desperately need and not neccesarily the best available player whoever that might be. Bean actually filled all our holes we had in free agency granted we still need d line help but adding a former 1st round pick corner from the texans to pair up with tre white was genius .. I know people say it all the time that's this is going to be our year but I'm not going to say that but I'm going to say I see this team going in a direction I've never seen before.

    Nice video. Thanks for recognizing our QB. In my opinion we need to draft a true No 1 receiver like Hakeem Butler or someone similar. Our defense is getting more tools to work with in FA, and we have the draft too. If Allen can develop well in the offseason (improve accuracy, awareness, etc.) we can go 9-7 or maybe 10-6
    If all goes well it'd be fun to see a Pats - Jets - Bills showdown for the division even though that sounds crazy.

    Josh Allen is definitely a great Dual Threat kind of QB. Has great arms and great legs. He technically has a lower completion percentage than Josh Rosen, but easily makes up for it with rushing. If he doesn't see anyone open, and he's not confident, he very quickly decides to run it and gain some more reliable yards. Not much hesitation in his decision-making. Very direct. Which is awesome. Of course Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold are great, but Allen is just terrifying. Terrifying in a Michael Vick kinda way, especially since this dude is even able to literally jump over tackles. Lol
    Already know next season is gonna be awesome.

      reason why his completion percentage isnt good ,,has to be w/ his receivers ,,,to many dropped passes that were spot on

    Big Bills fan here, so no surprise that i agree with you. Coaching, and the amount of time that Allen wants to put in on his own will make a significant difference. If he spends his offseason working on his weaker areas (accuracy, decision making) i think he can easily be a great NFL quarterback. Also, i think he has the drive to do exactly that. Go Bills!
