The ref We have 10 picks and 90 mil this offseason. We don’t need anyone on d until next offseason currently and likely won’t. We can easily fix the OL and add a cppl top flight WRs too. 2019 Bills are going to be one of the scariest teams in recent memory if they do it right, which I’m confident they will. Our current GM had a terrific draft w all picks rds 1-4 being home runs.

Fixes: Better management in the pocket (not scrambling when he doesn't need to), put more touch on some passes (doesn't need to sling every throw with so much juice), needs to find chemistry with reliable receivers and be more consistent in throws (Every 5 throws or so he makes a throw to a fairly open receiver and just slightly misses him or throws it slightly to hard for where they are).
I think he's definetly at least the second best quarterback coming out of the draft, he's the most flashy and athletic in my opinion out of all the qbs and has the ability to escape the pocket scary good. Mayfield just puts more touch and finess on the ball and has better pocket management. Allen is a better athlete than Lamar Jackson hands down in my opinion.

Still so many haters. People forget that Allen was drafted solely because of his arm talent. Not only does he have the strongest arm in the NFL, he is one of the most dangerous quarterback rushers also. Whether you like him or not, that is the most deadly combination you can ask for
For better or for worse he absolutely hates to check it down. Rare to see him do it more than once or twice a game, if that. Always looking to fire it down field.
@@arid_desert_storm Probably worse but most rookie QBs do that. Good defenses will force those type of QBs to check it down for most of the game until they get frustrated and take shots down the field (Bears vs. Jared Goff this season for reference)

I want a run stuffer DT if we can get some one who will keep Oline off of Edmunds and Milano as long as we are aggressive in FA for OL and receivers. If we contained the pats run game in our second meeting, Brady wasn't going to beat us.

If you combine this video with the video of all his receivers drops, you get quite an impressive season for Josh Allen

Yup and I believe the drop rate was pretty high in 2019 as well. And Josh was the 3rd most pressured QB in 2019 with pressures on 33% of his drop backs.

I think Robert Foster is that dominant reciever. Dude has the speed and ups to get separation and make plays. And Zay is easy #2. Need a good O-line and at least one good blocking tight end to get the run game going and it's go time

Seeing him pre and post injury it's night and day, imagine what he'll do with a proper preseason. A lot of non-Bills fans don't realize how much shuffling was going on during preseason this year and how much that probably hurt Allen's development.
Just think about what he will do with some real receivers? better O line?
Absolutely insane how good that injury was for him. The first 5 mins are highlights from before the injury. The last 8 are all after. You can see the progression from game to game. Just wait till he gets weapons, an OL and the whole camp and preseason to be QB1 and create better chemistry. Bills are going to surprise people next year .

As a bills fan I absolutely LOVE this guy, I was one of the few that actually wanted him at the draft, would’ve taken him #1 overall. With that said he still has those one or two rookie mistakes game that just make me go “what?” But I love this guys energy and can’t wait for next season. I’m so pumped. He made this the most exciting 6-10 season ever.

That makes two of us. I also wanted him long before the draft. When we got him I couldn't believe it. Then all the haters started and we better get used to it since we're going to be crushing souls and the haters will keep coming.
If you consider that we should have won the Miami and the Houston games, 8-8 with the offensive challenges means so much.
Don't forget the tight loss to the Jets. This team could've been 8-8 easily. I wanted no other QB in the draft, and I was elated with our first round, as we have a stud at LB in Edmunds, too. He also had a few rookie gaffes, but he's a ball hawk and can lead the D for a decade (assuming the Bills can keep a young LB for more than a couple seasons). Anyway, we also got a nice surprise in Foster (unless you watch the SEC), and there's top flight WR talent in the draft. I'd love to see them get Deebo Samuels early, who'll be a great return man as well as a slant or deep threat, or even running the ball in some creative formations. Anyway, it's really exciting to be a Bills fan again!

AGK927 accuracy... ehh sometimes. When he’s properly stepping into his throws with good mechanics he drops dimes. I do expect some improvement by next season though. Very pleased with our guy though! Go Bills

This is a comparison of arm strength, however I dont think Allen can fling it anywhere as close to Mahomes when it comes to throwing on the run.

Because the Bills were seen as an awful team during their playoff drought in the 2000s and 2010s, and then they got McDermott as Coach, then they got Allen, Allen eventually got better, they got Diggs, and now they make yearly postseason appearances.
It's insane comparing the Bills offense from Allen's rookie year to 2020. He had so many little flashes of greatness his rookie year, but wow. Go Bills!

@J Foster Baker is a stud, but every measurable statistic goes to Allen over Lamar. Lamar rode a great defense and a good offense around him to the playoffs...Allen had arguably the worst team in the league and had the most drops by wide receivers by a wide margin.

He now has a better receiving core, including two reliable tight-ends. His O-line also gives him plenty of time. He's gotten smarter with his reads and stopped extending plays that are dead. Allen's game is evolving before our very eyes!
I see a lot of potential here. And I’m not even a bills fan but they can definitely build a franchise around josh Allen the future is bright in Buffalo

For the past two seasons in the NFL now, second-year quarterbacks have took the league by storm. First, it was Wentz, Garoppolo, and Prescott in 2017 and now it is Mahomes, Watson, and Trubisky in 2018. Next, 2019 will belong to Allen, Mayfield, Darnold, and Jackson.

I don't agree. Brady was Allen's idol, and I believe that BUFFALO is gonna top the AFC EAST once Brady retires. The kid has it all, he runs, he hurdles, he flies and has the accuracy when he fires that ball down the field! I can't wait to see him this year! As long as McDermott gets the Offensive Line together, he'll do great! I'm so glad Buffalo has this kid!

Me too. I’ve never been so happy to be so wrong about the QB we drafted. I was listening to all the foolish draft evaluators who were skeptical of Josh....Allen.
He is pretty raw and inconsistent but man he shown a lot of skills. This coaching staff is good too, hope they keep them around and help Allen grow.

I think baker MAYFIELD, and Allen are gonna be the 2 QBs who defiantly define their draft. They will play with their respective teams for some time. Dont know about Sam darnold or Lamar yet

Allen showed some real promise this year. This guy is on the ascent as one of the best dual threat QB's in the NFL. Give this guy better protection and some improved weapons to compliment Jones and Foster and these guys will be scary good in 2019.

I sure hope you're right. He desperately needs a pocket that holds together longer than two seconds after the snap. He's an amazing raw talent and a blast to watch but if he continues running like that he's gonna get killed. Every team on the Bills' '19 schedule will have studied Allen to death by the start of the season and they'll be gunning for him. I think the kid has the potential to do great things in Buffalo if he's given the weapons and he stays healthy. Exciting times to be a Bills fan, for sure

As a Bills fan what he’s been able to do given the circumstances surrounding him offense and it has been pretty remarkable. Build around him properly and I think his future is bright.
As a bears fan, he definitely has the potential to be the best qb in the league. One of the best running QBs in the league. And he has one of the best arms in the league, just gotta build the offense around him, very similar to cam newton

That he was able to do all these things in his rookie season with a sub par offensive line and make shift receiver corps shows how good this kid is. I watched all the bills games this season and his receivers dropped so many catchable passes. Imagine his stats if he had better receivers, if they didn't waste so much time with Peterman and McCarron, and if he didn't get injured. I'm psyched for the bills next year.
I just love the dude. His attitude, intangibles, desire, competitiveness, and of course his rocket arm & leg. Imagine him with a great OLine and a vertical game. Like Kurt Warner did but with the dual threat of his 20+ yard runs too!

It's funny; everybody was talking about Josh Rosen being the best, NFL-ready QB drafted last year; and now, the Cardinals are probably going to draft ANOTHER QB with the 1st overall pick this year - and TRADE Josh Rosen! If Allen gets his mechanics straightened out, and learns how to read defenses better (he's working again with Jordan Palmer during the offseason)....a few years from now, people are going to be talking about he and Baker Mayfield a LOT! Sam Darnold's a really good QB - but he plays for the Jets, which makes his job 3x harder for that reason alone! And Lamar Jackson? As soon as he and his 200lb thin body gets hit by a 300lb defensive lineman, or a linebacker bearing down on him when he's running....he's going to be on the shelf! He's exciting to watch, but to be honest - I'd rather have Josh Allen! Josh is 6'5", 240lbs - he's going to last in the NFL! Lamar's going to get creamed; it's just a matter of time. Just ask RGIII.
As a University of Wyoming student and fan, I've been tracking Josh's transition to the league about as closely as anyone, and I really think the Bills might have something special here. His improvement between the end of his junior year here and week 17 has been remarkable. If you go back and watch his senior bowl tape, you'll see what I mean. His mechanics have gotten markedly better. He was a very raw prospect, and the fact that he was able to grow so much in one season of big time football should be very encouraging to the Bills faithful. I've always really hoped he'd succeed as a pro and make Wyoming proud, and after this season I'm feeling confident that it's going to happen. Excited to see him continue to develop.
