Did you pay attention to the line? Gorya said "being in Thailand doesn't limit you from achieving your dreams" it's not that she wanted her to let go of her dream. She is being kinda childish here, just doesn't want Ren to feel upset.
Bright's father is Thai-American and his mother is Thai-Chinese, so yeah, he has some foreign genes. Also, the actress who plays Thyme's sister, Maria Poonlertlarp has been miss Universe in 2017, while the one who plays the mother, has been miss World in 1996.
Yeah bright is half too (American, Chinese Thai descent)
Actually, Thailand has a lots of mixed-race and multiracial citizens. That's why many Thai actors/actresses are usually half-european or half-chinese. But unfortunately, Thai beauty standards favors those people more since they are "better-looking."
I like your reaction, even though I did't agree in some part but it's ok to think different :). Because now my current watching episode is 7, so I think this one is 3. If you don't mind, let me share some of my opinion. I think up until episode 3, the only person who said that Thyme has changed is his sister (Who is very close to him), If you ask Gorya that Thyme has changed? She maybe gonna say that r u ok? lol. So it seems like a good beginning for him to start doing something right and I am not gonna spoil or anything but I do agree with u that he need to do something good with others too not only the one that he like, and I think may be you will see it? This is the thing u have to find out yourself in the latter episode. I am looking forward to ur next f4 thailand episode :) (I do like it when you speak what r u thinking without trying to make yourself looks good)

i think the whole ‘atleast ive tried’ argument was more talking about the red card situation, where ren has condoned and gone along with the bullying for his whole life - although not doing much atleast goryas attempt to stop it did something.
I had the same thought at the airport scene with Ren and Thyme. I was thinking why does this feels like a BL series.
