I am passionate about our history and the preservation of heritage. It is vital that detectorists comply with all laws, including Heritage Act 2017, that protects historical cultural heritage sites and artefacts. In Victoria, it is an offence to disturb historical archaeological sites or remove artefacts from sites. Make sure you understand all applicable laws before commencing detecting activities.

Great to see you out on a coin and relic hunt … I still have loads to learn about the manticore. Love the seeing the wildlife too - super special 👍⚒️👍
haappy metal detecting
Luke's detecting and nature walk!
It felt that way on this day @Roberto Giuseppe what a random fun dig mate🙂
Good fun it is, Luke, getting ideas about a place from the finds in the ground telling something about the place, you thought wine bottle lid, but Gilbey's is a gin, Crown Lager, it's got the flavour!... It did occur to me that certain places get new uses and look very new, but oncw were farmsteads, villages, former heritage that's not evident from the modernity sitting there now, modern might be sixties tennis courts, or the 2000s football and netball, on 1840s sites, that's out here in Clyde North, Berwick, Pakenham, Narre Warren! Cheers again from Gabz.
Thanks heaps @gabivalla6279 this was a ripper of a day out amongst the wildlife. Not to much to find unfortunately but lots of fun. That is some great information on the gilbeys lid to thanks heaps! Always fascinating what you can find😉👍⛏️
Good to see you out on the coins with the new manti. Ronald's pendant is a little ripper 👌
A neat little hunt in this one @Working925detecting and that Manticore is mint mate! The finds may not have been there to get but we certainly had alot of fun swinging🙂 Cheers heaps man🤝👍⛏️
Good to see that even the legend of coins and relics has some average days..😂
Haha the true reality of detecting on this day for sure @i_dig_it_melbourne however in the end we come away with some cool little finds at a random site🙂 We can tick that one off the list now too⛏️
Back it up and listen to the width. The aluminum cap, sheet metal, has a wider sound profile. There was even an old Garrett that had a size mode with a scale. The aluminum cap, on the scale, was wider than a coin. Tabs have a wider sound than coins. Doesn’t work with deformed objects. You can hear the difference right on the video.
Thank you. I am in Canada and I have a Minelab X-Terra 70 that I love with three different coils. If I bought a Minelab Manticore then would I notice a big improvement or a small improvement??
Most welcome @royjohnson465 I'm glad you enjoyed watching.
The Manticore is a seriously impressive coin/relic hunting machine. I am most certain it would be an upgrade on the Xterra you have. However that said it takes time to learn a new machine and they can be expensive. Best of luck, I hope you enjoy more videos in future🙂👍⛏️
Hi Luke..a question slightly off topic. Do you still have the nox 900 laminated tid charts??
Hi @derekthurgood4889 I sure do mate. I will shoot you a msg on fb to organise👍
@DigItDetecting thank Luke, I'm after a couple if that's ok
@@DigItDetecting Hi Luke, still waiting for the nox 900 tid charts
