Thanks for Another fantastic Burrows and Badgers battle report. Really enjoying them. The minis the terrain, the ideas the video production, all your effort and enthusiasm is coming together and producing something truly unique and a bit special.

Very enjoyable and a lovely Friday surprise. I think the fog machine was a really neat touch to bring the scenario to life. I’m looking forward to episode three!
Brilliant cinematic recreation of an exciting battle. The beautifuly painted Oathsworn minitures complement your amazing collection of scratchbuilt Beamfleot marsh and river terrain. I love the moody lighting at dusk, and the early morning mist too. I'm looking forward to the next battle report in the series, to find out what happens next. Will it be the dimly lit and claustrophobic catacombs? We will have to wait and see! This is the way a Burrows and Badgers campaign and battle report should be portrayed! Well done!
Hi Bruce I am so pleased you enjoyed this. These take quite some time to do compared to just filming a game, but I am really enjoying the end result. Yes I am hoping the next game will take us under the city. Keep watching:0)
Hi Franklin - while I do often make all the models including ships, the ship used in this game is from is a Bark from Blood and Plunder by Firelock Games
Is the music in the background from Black Sails? I swear it sounds so familiar to me. That was a nice battle report! I have been working on the eight miniatures I got from Oathsworn. I am down to the mouseketeer whom I have named Sir Porthos the Bold! After he gets painted and I sort out some terrain I can finally play a game.
Hi Luke, yes it's just a matter of time and space. My whole life this year has kinda been taken over by a big house renovation project which has rather cramped my style.
I really like these narrative battle reports but personally would like to see a little more of the action and dice rolls to increase the tension of things.
@@iamgrays hi Iam. There's room for all sorts of Bat Rep and I am still tweaking the format. Yes you are right in that I am interested in telling the story, but I am also interested in how the game works. I am also interested in other's opinions so I make what people enjoy watching. The only thing I know for sure is I want to avoid a video of two middle aged blokes, standing around, rolling some dice and talking through an incomprehensible series of modifiers.
Really enjoyed this video - not much of a gamer myself, preferring the building/painting side of the hobby, but I have to say this actually seems like a fun game (like you, I prefer fast-paced, action-packed skirmish style games, especially when there's a narrative involved) - I had never even heard of Burrows & Badgers before - I'm sure as this series goes on these videos will keep getting better but I had an idea - during the introductions to the warbands, might it be a good idea to show a photo of each character, with their name (and role, species, etc.) in text onscreen at the same time? Rather than a photo of all of the models, then a slide of all of the character names - it might make it a bit easier for following along with the battle itself. Especially when there are multiple otters etc. in the same battle. Just an idea.
Hi Michael. Thanks for watching. I am glad you like this format, I am still fiddling with it TBH. The first video in the series had a more detailed breakdown of each gang, it took quite a while to get through so this time I only went with the photo idea. Watch the Redwall Abbey Bat Rep (the other Bat Rep) and let me know what you think. I think I have an idea how I can do a bit of both.
@@magratheabuilderofworlds7141 yes, I did mean to say that I realise a breakdown of each character would mean more work for you haha! I'll def watch the other one. I'm very new to your channel so still lots of video treats to get round to! ;)
I’ve got a question. Maybe a bit late in the game , but about that one-shot kill. You’ve counted the ranged D8 perfect roll of 8+7 +2 +1 (18) but shouldn’t the Beaver be rolling his nimbleness D4 against this? If the beaver gets a 1 he’s dead but even if he gets a 2 he’d be down to his last gasp with all 16 of his wounds gone but he’d still be alive. Not to mention the quite likely chance of his own perfect roll of a 4+7 which would’ve helped a a lot. Did he participate in a roll off? Or was he ambushed at long range somehow?
LOL - well I am hoping to be hosting some B&B events in 2022 so let's see. Hoping I also have a table for Salute 22 - That will be a Beamfleot B&B game:0)
A suggestion for getting lots of useful bitz for the Necromunda build: Look at the Mantic Games range of Terrain crates. The Modern and Post apocalyptic sets as well as the Sci-Fi sets.
I use Terrain Crate on several Necromunda models. I kickstarted TerrainCrate 2 and use various bits on the Enforcers ship and my latest build (part 2 video coming soon) also has some TC parts

Absolutely brilliant report yet again Tim. Keep 'em coming!
Thanks Jamie. I shall endeavour to do so
Thanks @Tim. This style of battle report is amazing!
Thanks for watching. I am still tweaking the format, but yeah I like 'em, I am glad you do too.
great narrative Tim makes for a great battle report than watching boring dice rolls looking forward to more
Morning Murray. Thank you. I think so too.
Enjoyed the video and your enthusiasm Tim. Hope you are keeping well.
Glad you liked it Gordon. Yes I am much better now. Over the tooth issue.
This cheered me up today, thank you.
Brilliant
Great battlereport
Great stuff.
Thanks Simon:0)
Good stuff! Hopefully those rascally otters will get their comeuppance!
Well they kicked my ass, so here's hoping.
cracking video again , Now you see what happens when you tell everyone what a tank that beaver is, the pirates must have been using A/P ammo!! .
Yeah I was kinda gobsmacked
Love this style of battle report, great stuff!
Thank you. I am glad you're watching.
Another, fantastic battle report video, loved the first one and loved this one. Such a great way of viewing them.
Thanks Daniel - Every game tells a story, i am enjoying telling the story of ours.
Very enjoyable and a lovely Friday surprise. I think the fog machine was a really neat touch to bring the scenario to life. I’m looking forward to episode three!
Hi Andrew. Yes the fog really helps to add a dynamic element to a stationary scene. Keep watching.
Great work. Thank you very much.
Glad you're watching.
Oh yeah! This shall be enjoyed to its fullest!
I hope so:0)
@@magratheabuilderofworlds7141 I most certainly did, thank you very much once again!

Loved it! The pirate crew did amazingly well - I reckon it's time for Beamfleot to pick a new Mayor! ;)
Well he might be really good at his other civic duties, maybe not so hot on the military stuff?
Love it! Thank you for sharing this battle report! Awesome job! 👍👍
Thank you. I am glad you're watching.
Merry Christmas Hobby Krampus, still lovin the show.
And to you Bill:0)

Well done video, Tim! Beating the tough rolls, and the early setback, was quite the uphill battle. Those dice will get you
Nevertheless it was a fun game
That's the important part. Fun, with friends 🤘🏼

Loved this BattRep! Where can I find a pdf of the ship blueprints? I’d like to build them for my future games.

Hi - The music is a copyright free piece of music called A New Hero In Town, it does have a bit of a Black Sails vibe. I hope you get to play soon.
Great videos do you have more battle reports in the pipeline?
