I no longer have any respect for any of the judges. They were beyond rude and were an embarrassment to all us Americans. Dimash was the only one with any class.

@@NickyD If you knew Dimash you would know that he has very high morals. In his country children are treated differently than here. He wasn't losing. He had higher scores than anyone on the show. He was winning hands down. I have never seen or heard of him acting unkindly to anyone. He actually picked a little kid out of the audience in front of him and pulled him up on the stage and let him sing part of the song. To him a child is more important than a record deal. But he does have record deals all over the world.
The judges didn't make a fool of Dimash they made a fool of themselves. How disrespectful to Dimash. He was gracious, respectful, humble and kind. I'm really disappointed in their treatment of him. It must be a culture shock to him. You're both really sweet for putting this up. Much appreciated, thank you.

Thanks for this post. It really does explain a great deal and put thinks in perspective. Dimash is a class act. What didn't surprise me was that nasty side that RuPaul displayed- the mask slipped. That was a dreadful way to speak to another human being, to belittle him in public. It was also unprofessional behaviour towards another artist. I had heard lots of stories about Ru's behaviour towards Drag Race contestants when the camera's stopped rolling. I'm more inclined to believe at least some of them after watching this.
You can see while he sang the reactions of the judges. They sat there like stones. Remember how , especially RuPaul, whooped and hollered during All By Myself? And to do nothing during this? They definitely were upset already before he sang. What jerks!
Dimash sang with Lara Fabian ,Boccei and many outstanding artists.....what happened was just shame....
He did well and took the right decision

Dimash proved, once again, that he's not only a good artist, but also a good human being. He's literally showing that he has great values, morals and integrity. He couldn't care less about the money. He doesn't need this show to prove that he has talent. The fact that the judges didn't want to let him go says a lot.

I don't watch TV but when I heard that Dimash was going to be on TWB I watched every episode. Even with the horrible editing I understood why Dimash wanted to leave. How RuPaul treated him in that last episode was appalling. Not only that, but on one episode he made a disparaging remark about Dimash's traditional clothing. Well after the last episode I took to twitter like crazy. Slamming TWB American judges for what was said to Dimash and the world judges for what they did to Daneliya. Anyone and everyone could see that she was treated that way because she was from the same country as Dimash. Hears hoping that TWB was a one time thing. Until they learn that not everyone has the same values or culture they shouldn't be allowed to have a show like that. Thank you for enlightening us about what really happened.

@Jesus Is Immanuel because like MOST American talent shows this one was also pre-recorded months before airing with participants having to sign non disclosure contracts. While recording for the show they didnt know who their opponents were until this round which is why Dimash announced he was quitting and THEN did this final performance before leaving.

@Jesus Is Immanuel - Didn't you watch the 2 ladies at the end of this vid? They were in the audience that night and explained what really happened. Before signing on to the show, Dimash DID ask the show's people whether he would have to compete against children because it is against their culture to do so, and they said, he would NOT. Essentially they lied to him. They probably figured that Dimash would not give up the chance to win $A Million$ and a recording contract. They guessed wrong.
Finally someone gets it!! It's not just his culture, i mean come onnn who would compete againts childrennn!!! An adult has a full developed voice and his voice is at it's full potential, while the children are still developinggg

That honestly explains the emotion and why I thought this was different from the other performances and why, I believe it was his country's, judge was about to cry. I wonder why RuPaul was just sitting there during and why he was looking so mad. Needless to see I don't think this competition will have that happening again...

Faith Hill made herself look so stupid. I'm finished with her not that I was a fan of hers that much but I like her husband's singing. Some of those judges were so ignorant and childish.
Let the judges be ignorant and keep listening to Beyonce and other normal singers. They don't deserve better.

Thank you, ladies, for this video. It makes me sick to watch this show, and the way they disrespected a person and his culture. But, I'm sorry, what did you expect from those "judges"?... the three of them are a joke anyway. You must be a big thing in your field to call yourself a judge of something, so the whole thing is wrong to begin with. If I did not respect them before, after this I can say I will not watch any american show ever again, and I am glad Dimash refuses to sign with any label that will not allow him to be himself. If this is the way he's gonna be treated, he's better off without the western world.... We could learn a thing or two about humanity and values from our Asian brothers and sisters, for this man is not just an amazing singer; his songs have a message, HE has a message, and until our hearts are ready to hear it, we won't deserve his greatness.

Obrigada Ana, eu logo suspeitei que havia muita coisa a mais do que o que estavam mostrando. Dimash não precisa, nem um pouco, dessas pessoas focadas apenas em lucros e que não pespeitam os artistas. Nunca respeitaram, haja visto quantos artistas já foram explorados e acabaram muito infelizes.

The artist should not change to fit your taste, you like him because of what he is, of his art. And really, we do need artists of this high quality and values in our lives. He’s a great example to follow.

Dimash was lied to by the show's producers. He asked if he would be competing with children.They lied and said no children. Then, and only them, did he signed the contract. Only later did he see a child performer was in the contest, who was from Dimash's home country.
He made the announcement to the judges, that he would not compete against the children and would need to leave the show, though he did fulfill one last performance for the audience and then left the building allowing the kids to free to compete without competing with him. RuPaul, one of the judges, was particularly rude and disrespectful to Dimash.
Other commenters in this section have fortunately added additional information and perspective on this incident.
As a man of integrity, Dimash made the right decision. The producers made a big mistake deceiving Dimash.
Of all people to disrespect someone else's culture i was most disappointed with RuPaul. He of all people understands disrespect for his culture. It was an embarrassing example of American arrogance.

The reason that James Corden showed the empathy and understanding for Dimash that he did is because James is from the United Kingdom and not from here 💯 SHAME on our American judges and especially RuPaul for displaying such disrespect to another human being!!! I am HIGHLY mad and disappointed!! I have lost ALL REPECT for RuPaul and Faith Hill, as far as Drew Barrymore, I don't know how I feel about her anymore cause it didn't show if she said anything or not nor did it show what really was her attitude about Dimash quitting the competition..I realize that this happened 5 years ago but I just recently found out about it so for me it's like it just happened..I'm soooo glad that I stumbled upon this video and sooo appreciative that you two did this video to tell the TRUTH about what REALLY HAPPENED..THANK YOU BOTH!!!! ❤ and my sincere heartfelt RESPECT for Dimash for his continued respect despite how horrible that he was being treated 🥰 greetings from Las Vegas 😊
I can't believe the STUPIDITY of all involved with the "world's best" competition to put children to compete with ADULTS!! Kudos to DIMASH and shame on all who entertained the idea that his move was generated by a fear of losing to any of the children. How truly IGNORANT they are, totally UNFIT to judge anyone!!!

Those judges really really behaved badly. It is the Kazakh culture to nurture children as they grow. Dimash will always act to honor his country and culture. You say to him, “How dare you leave!” I say to the judges, how dare you show such disrespect for another country and culture. How dare YOU!!

Can you please explain why it really looks like the announcement was after the performance but you say it was before? The first judge even says that his performance was amazing. That would make much sense if he didn’t perform yet.

The show claimed it was the World's Best. And Dimash was. BUT, no one else was representative of the world's best. Thats why the world's best is gone. Shame on Rue Paul for his lies! I will never watch his programs again.
Miss "Rude" Paul was the worst of all. Dimash has more integrity in his pinky all of them combined. I could not even watch this to the end because it made me so angry.

Me encanta como Faith dice "your country" con ese tono, parece villana de telenovela, creía que le iban a dar la razón. A Ru ni lo topaba, y esta fue mi primera impresión de él, para jamás querer saber nada de este tipo.
Dimash's fans know how humble and considerate he is and now knowing that he had asked about children & his feelings of not competing with them - a cultural thing - the producers & judges of the show behaved in a cruel & despicable way to try to belittle Dimash that way. It's no wonder Dimash refuses to be signed by a Western recording company with all their underhanded & corrupt ways. Good for him to not be fooled by their dishonourable game-playing. They can do their worst but we Dears know how Dimash is and will not be turned away from him for the likes of them. I have lost all respect for Ru Paul after this.

I think so highly of Dimash. The story that you are telling us now is very much in character for the man I have come to know as a performer. He is a salve for the soul. I guess that’s why World’s Best only lasted for one season and Dimash is now World Famous. Thank you ladies.
