Oof, that is rough, buddy. Not sure what the full 6v6 match options were, but based on what was shown, opponent had too much fast move pressure + type advantage. I guess the only hope I saw was leaning on Dewgong more. The opponent loved that Waterfall Gary and Dewgong could at least threaten solid damage on the Steelix. Just have to keep it from the Machamp. Probably go Mew for the 2nd pick and probably Wiggly to answer both Ttar & Machamp. Not sure if it would have made a difference, but those are the only ideas I could come up with to possibly fight back in this rotten matchup.
So they had machamp, hippo, drifblim, steelix, Granbull, Tyranitar into my dub wool, mew, G moltres, ariados, dewgong, and wiggly. This was a bad matchup and honestly I just kind of gave up on it. I needed perfect team call and alignment to win a game. Dewgong felt okay but had so much working against it because machamp only was afraid of wiggles that it was a rough bring
@@michaelwilson8401 Yup, I understand. Not much hope for victory. I think Mew can play neutrally into most of that, and the hippo/drifblim options on the table just motivate me to use Gong even more. The problem then is making sure Wiggly or at least Mew see the Machamp each game. Still probably a lost set, but could probably snag a game.
