@@motolarry1 You are very welcome! The series has resonated with me further and I plan to purchase a 450 x over the summer and practice for long desert races on my 250 r while I wait for the 450. My dad who watched this with me wants to also join me racing which is a dream come true. P.S. Hope your neck feels better from 2016!

We pre-ran that 2017 course for our truck team. I rode nearly the entire course on a dirt bike, 3 of them to be exact. I fell, got lost, ran out of gas (twice) had a flat tire, blisters on both hands and feet, was cold, hot, used flashlights taped to my helmet, and ate lots of tacos! All over the time frame of 6 days, 1234 miles! I’m so glad I raced it in the trophy truck after the pre run on a bike. You are a true inspiration, example of determination and how to manage risk. Live and race another day! I hope to see you cross that finish line✊️💪

First half of these films... "One day I'm going to race the Baja 100". Second half of the movie... "Ok, that looks awful". Then I watch the next one and do it all over again in my head haha. I feel like you start to get pretty tired and a sore ass after 75-100 miles in a day. Now just do 10 times that without really stopping. Ironman indeed.

@@motolarry1I live behind your son in Hurricane, Utah of course. When I seen your last name come up on my YT channel I said to myself wait what’s the coincidence that you were Tanners father. I texted Tanner and he said I can’t start watching on the 4th video but that I had to start from the beginning. He was right. Simply amazing story my man. Best Baja saga I’ve ever seen and was riveted the whole time.

It's better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all, for not trying is the biggest failure of them all. I am 58 years old and I am constantly pushing the limits that others fear to test. In the end I will be able to look back on my life full of failures and successes and know deep down in my heart that I did my best and enjoyed life to the fullest. Your films rekindles that inspiration that sometimes begins to flicker with age. Sometimes all you really need is a little extra fuel to drive it that extra mile.

as a fellow rider who has done 250 miles off road in one day I can't image in riding 1,200 miles off road. There are few in this world willing to share their "defeats" publicly with others, I so appreciate your willingness to take us along with you (fulfilling your mission statement). Thank you for putting the time and effort into not only riding the race but professionally recording it and sharing it with us for free. looking forward to part 4!

Duck tape is good for getting the small needles out... God forbid you need them it the future... but what a boss dad and son team for the epic time they had... let's not forget the son going through no sleep before a 48 hour race after having a mega reaction to nuts... now that in itself is nuts....
Big up both of your awesome asses.... whoop whoop
And son certainly never feel bad for listening to your body when it needed to stop....
Takes a real man to know when to stop for them self and the team...
And again dude you had just come out of the hospital sir from a major nut allergy reaction.... ro even start the race was incredible... let alone going on as far and as long as you did...
Just go get it next time man cos you got it...
Massive respect to you all... the team too...
