Thank you so much!! :) Theres a few reasons why fondant can crack it can be overworked or you took too long to roll out the fondant. I'll post a video next week on how to fondant cover a cake. There will be tips and tricks on how to avoid cracks!
@@NoshinRahman I think then you over worked your fondant! try to use fresh fondant when you cover the cake. The more often you use it, the more it dries out. Please subscribe that way you can see when I post the video!! Thanks :)
@@caketoppedwithlove I already subscribed you 😍 you are very talented. Do I have to freeze my cake, I always cover whipped cream cake with dondant and fondant became very soft as well 😂
Thank you!!! :) The fondant I use is pretty soft which helps avoid elephant skin! Its McCalls Fondant. I also recommend kneading your fondant for a few minutes so that it gets softs( try to avoid using a lot of cornstarch when kneading this will keep it more stretchy) I have also made a video on how to cover a cake with fondant if you would like to check it out!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Very easy to understand and copy. Helped me a lot!
