One of the greatest natural athletes to grace the game. A matchwinner on his day; devastating with bat, one of the most amazing fielders ever, and handy with the ball bowling spin or medium pace. Even with a very respectful career, IMHO he still didn't fulfill his immense potential. RIP mate, you leave us with great memories.

Rip Andrew Symonds. One of the most exciting players of cricket 🏏 to play the game. He got Australia out of trouble on many occasions with his aggressive batting. I’ll never forget when he shirt fronted that streaker then security were able to get this clown off the field haha. A true legend and character of the game that will be sadly missed. He loved a beer 🍺 and he loved to have a fish. A true blue ozzy in my eyes. Take care Roy. We’re gunna miss ya mate.

Roy you did it your way 👏 my favourite in a team of favourites growing up in the 2000s you were only 6 years older than me yet it puts a perspective on how precious each second we live is and you lived a great life cobber condolences to your wife and son and daughter.
Roy was one of the best all rounders and proud Queensland player and so many great memories watching him in my teens and in my early 20s and a great commentator and well said by Tubby Taylor rip Roy Andrew Symonds
We will miss this Aussie, he’s an addition to our amazing library of champions in heaven. Obviously an entry into the first eleven up there. See ya Roy!!!
It’s so spooky watching these highlights because it doesn’t feel like that long ago, but it really was, time and life is so incredible and the legacy you can leave in a moment in time ripples for so many years to come. RIP Roy and thank you for all you did for cricket and in life ❤️
