This is how women should be treated after giving birth. This is a caring man
They are always treated like this in Chinese culture and most Asian. Mothers are pampered and don't have to lift a finger in the 30 days. Affluent families even hire a confinement nanny. Others will have husbands and grandmother's doing everything. Cooking special confinement menu for mum too.

@@avriel9527 I know in the west there is no " Confinement " period but I all Asian cultures whether Chinese, Indian, Korean etc we have it. It is believed that the mother who delivers needs to recover well . Even if in laws dislike the daughter in law they will take care of her because they need her to recover to care for the grandchild. So as an Asian I would not link the care with love for the daughter in law. But in Rose's case her husband's family is fond of her clearly. Am talking generally. Mothers in law who hate the daughter in-law will often cook for her to ensure she recovers, for the grandchild sake.

@@StephanieHalim27 yes, in Singapore and Malaysia we still follow these practices. The other Asian races here like Indian and Malay do too though each race may have different herbs, diet etc.
It's a testament to what a genuinely lovely man Wu Jianyun is ,that his old colleagues allow him to cook for his Rose in their restaurant. Rose is getting all she needs to regain her strength. Anzai has summed his little sister up as being extremely delicate, they are both so precious. The family have rallied around to take a little of the initial pressure off of mum and dad. Their unity is awesome.

Today I learned a valuable culture lesson. My friend, Asian said that her Dad never told us he loved us, but showed us. One thing he did was that he would always ask us if we were hungry, warm, comfortable and happy. And he would do what was needed to make sure those needs were taken care of. I learned actions speak louder than words. He loved us more than words could ever express.. a beautiful blessing
Thats exactly how it was for me growing up in West Africa. My parents never said they loved me. But i saw it every action and every sacrifice they made for me. Even today, i dont care for men who dont show action. If you tell me you love me and I dont see any real action, i move on quick. Love is an action word. And that is what i am used to. I am extremely unmoved by words without action

Everytime I watch this family, I cry. This is utopia. The love, the caring, the togetherness is unbelievable. This young girl from Uganda, moving to a strange land, is so loved by everyone. Wu Jianyun is just so full of joy- its lovely to see him so happy. I suspect Anzai is feeling a little tension after being an only child for so long. He will adjust, and with such great parents he will grow to love his sister.

I am SO HAPPY that Mr. Wu is taking such good care of Rose and paying attention to her body and her pains. TOO MANY black women have died in childbirth or after the birth of a child because of a blood clot or other issues relating to blood loss. He is so very watchful and helpful!!! I know she is in good hands. I am also very appreciative of the hospital keeping her until she is stronger. Here, they send you home after 24 hours. Congratulations to them and their family, everyone is so happy for this little princess!!
@April. I’m confused. Did Rose have a cesarean birth and do the hospitals where she lives not provide basic care for baby ie; formula, diapers. A m so happy that she has an amazing husband and support system that lovingly cares for her.
@@Nira39 Not sure, I just know that every country is different when it comes to supplies for infant and mother. Rose is moving like she had a c-section so its really good that Wu is so attentive. He is rubbing her legs and that is very VERY important. I had 2 of them so I know the importance of circulation and walking after birth.
Thats in America. It’s completely different for blk women outside of the US. In fact The United States has the highest mortality rate for all women(but especially blk) out of ALL the western countries. Think about that.
I had a c-section but I read a vaginally birth, there are pains up to 8 days at times. It's called after birth pain.
