The entire chat was screaming "Noooo" when she sacrificed Blue Eyes, only to realize seconds later that it was actually a very good play.
It still kind of was, since Strong Wind had used Behemoth as the sac it would have had 3150 and she still would have had Blue Eyes, so she'd have had two power monsters and Behemoth next turn. But if we really want to get into it Sykkuno was going easy from the very start.

@@NokonMizuki This duel made me think of kaiba vs Yuigi. Ironmouse is Kaiba and puts up a good fight with her strong dragons but Yuigi who is sykkuno pulls through in the end with the power of plot armor.
Why compare when Sykunno is an anime boy?

It kills me how much Sykunno actually sounds like an anime character and how, on top of that, can improv the lines.

This is the first time that Sykkuno has said that the battle was close and he was actually genuine. To be forced to put his entire game into the outcome of a coinflip is tantamount to how threatening Mousey truly was.
Probably because the Tungsten Rat was actually able to read the card effects properly instead of just getting Shadow Realm'd like some others.
@@omnibeta1876 I mean, I played Yu-gi-oh a long time ago with my brother, and I can tell you from firsthand experience that knowing what the card does isn’t everything. The combos that Mousey made were actually really good, and she had an actual strategy intended to kill. Every single other TH-camr Sykkuno has faced not only didn’t know what their deck did, but they had no strategy in place that would actually win them the game, that’s the difference.

Generally people that actually play yugioh with friends do it for fun regardless if it's with meta or non meta. It's people that play it alone that only care how good their deck is.

Comboing Silver Cry, sacrificing Blue-eyes for a bigger beater that can inflict piercing. Oh, later I find that Sykkuno mentions she could look at her own chat for plays. Idk how valid that'd be with how fast a popular streamer's chat goes, but it's certainly a thing.

@@agunemon idk what I'm doing at first and I stop playing it. After I watched the tournament, I got interested in it and now I start playing it again. Currently I use Dragonmaid deck because it's the only deck I know how to use it (mostly). I'm still learning my deck.
@@Farron_01 for me I made my real life deck, gladbeast and buster blueeyes then got rolled past gold. Then Utopia and Firefist on my nswitch account, both struggled hard even in gold and couldnt reach plat. Thats when I dropped it aside from getting my busterblueeyes to gold or plat every season but couldnt get past plat so gave up at plat or gold until next season... Seeing then made me want to try and play for fun again. Hahahha

Sykkuno finally got in the seasonal arc where the protag has to Duel Satan.
She tried to hurt him with her harsh words, "nerd," and finish him with her strong minions, but he can't lose yet.
I adore Mouse's "big sister" energy, being both enthused by the game and also calling Sykkuno a nerd at the same time.

I got to admit, this duel was actually amazing. It was back and forth, and had me on the edge of my seat seeing how the cards being drawn kept coming in clutch. All in all, worth watching.

I'd like for there to be an actual official canon yugioh character like this. Just a character who would be really good and doesn't over-explain or need to have card effects explained to them cause they read their cards, and then call people nerds for roleplaying so hard. Their opponent monologues through their turns and she's just like "hahahahahaha nerd."

Not that it would have made much a difference to the outcome but Mouse could have attacked Black Luster Soldier with strong wind and then used Kaiser Glider to return her blue eyes to her own hand.

i wasnt counting but let's say there was 25 cards left (probably more). He drew time wizard which is 1 out of 25 then 1 out of 2 for coin toss. There was only a 2% chance of filian losing in that situation. Sykkuno needs a nerf

You're right that the chance of this anime like scenario was close to 0%, but I suppose mouse went too far with her deeds of calling him a nerd. Sykunno nearly defeated by both her minions and her cruel words went into a flashback. Soon epic music began to play softly in the background, "I just have to Believe in the heart of the cards"-Sykunno says. Music now getting so loud as if blaring from all directions as Sykunno draws his next card to see time wizard! This single hope is his only chance of victory so he bets it all on a single coin flip. He lands heads and successfully defeats the evil mouse's minions and passes his turn. The evil mouse has nothing left and is now stunned at the sudden change she begins to laugh at the unbelievable situation. It becomes Sykunnos turn again and he finishes the evil mouse off with beaver warrior!
