@@JayEm16 Ant man does a little filming in his part time
@@JayEm16 I think it's cgi
@@yourdad7682 I was thinking the same thing but its so convincing that I cant imagine it would be CGI. Would be good to know tho.
The footage of the ants is one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen. How were they able to film it so perfectly? They captured every little detail. Absolutely astonishing
You can train ants to be cameramen - for real, look it up! I didn't
My question exactly
Could it be CGI ?
@@naim8460Could be.
That sequence is a classic. I believe the whole area (“the corral” was basically built for the purpose.
With animals that already are integrated into human environments, this is a legitimate approach to capturing data - and ofc neat video footage.
For every amazing frame you see in these, there’s literal hours of nothing.
There’s “making of” information out there on that and other productions.
Can you imagine, like, hearing your doorbell and answering it but this bird flies into your house and steals some Cheerios instead of there being someone at the door. Then like 10 minutes later you hear your son calling for you from outside so you open the door and the same bird flies in and takes the piece of bread you were in the middle of making a sandwich with. This is the life of the meerkats.
"He might be a poor nest builder, but he is redeeming himself now." I feel a connection. 😆

The footage of the war between the ants was incredible, so much detail even tho the whole scenery is small

and so we feel bad for them and throw out more food.... Apparently not all birds can survive on seeds and "bird food"... I didnt know that,, many bird types even require live food for their kids... Bird life sounds hard man ^^

Wrong crowd too.... he/she was only one zebra around 😂😂😂
Never fails to amaze me how mountain goats have no need for tails for balance. It's all about the grip of their hooves. They can run along almost vertical walls using nothing but grip. Unbelievable.
I love these shows! I was absolutely bowled over by the close up camera work in practically everything I saw in this specific episode.
And watching the ant queen and her colony underground was stunning!
I wish they would film the camera crew doing their work and we can watch how it is all done, wouldn't that be something? I saw a bit of a footage of a lonesome camera man filming the Meerkats in the desert and how familiar they all were with him being a part of the desert, climbing/standing over him keeping an eye out for danger, while he simply lies still and doesn't interfere with their lives. Getting to know them all and it must be heartbreaking watching some of them die and knowing he could have saved it, but can't interfere.
Man! That ant battle was sick! Entire synopsis is familiar with many fallen empires. It is very simple for us cause these are ants, but the very same thing happened many times by us, humans! And the commentary took it to the next level.
This is an older clip of desert ants, but David Attenborough did a series more recently featuring wood ants and it was just as violent. You just can't look away. Yuk.
Jeremy Irons who was the voice of Scar is a great narrator.

@24:19 The male wolf is like "Look, I like you a lot and we are trying to mate here BUT YOUR DAD IS RUNNING TOWARD ME! Let me GO!!!"

In every species including our own the overriding consideration is to reproduce, we're just wired that way
she belong to the streets
Technically the male was the one who trapped himself since it's the male dog's penis that knots and 'gets stuck' to ensure breeding. So he's only got his own dick to blame there.
