- That one time Nintendo just let Rare do whatever they wanted. Resulting in the greatest platformer parody of all time.

Nintendo should never be ashamed of this game. It was a masterpiece.
Microsoft was also ashamed of this game when it was remade. So much that Conker never had a new game.
When an adult Conker game killed the series
Yeah considering on switch they have softporn tetris games
❤ masterpiece
Masterpiece??. Nah. It was decent at best. Bunch of trial and error.
i will always remember that good samaritan at the games store.. i was 13 and i wanted to buy "Conker: Live and reloaded" for the first xbox wich had a newer polished version of conkers Bad Fur Day on it (i didnt have a clue what this game was). my parents didnt want to allow me buying it since it was PG16 in my country. Then a man, maybe 30 came along and explained... well conker... thats like when tom and jerry fight each other.. it has squirrels and teddybears and flowers and stuff.. its harmless... my parents bought it and...
i played the game for like.. 1000 hours (hence the battle modes it had) and it influenced my kind of humor and made a great childhood memory (its standing in a shelf next to my 30 year old ass). thank you unknown german guy
That was a legendary hero who waltzed momentarily in your life. Your life was shaped forever.
Thats an ammazing story! Thank you for sharing!!
Props to the random guy for helping you get this legendary game
I had the opposite the guys pretty much told my mom I shouldn’t be playing it …i convinced her to buy it buy crying about it and promising good grades
Glad to know I'm not the only one who places asses next to shelves.
I appreciate you using my cover for your outro, as well as giving the credit! I’m glad you like it :)
The remix absolutely slapped I loved it
Hhhj
@@KoKerm You’re a hater mook😒
I remember going to rent this game at block buster and the clerks having to tell my mom it wasn't appropriate for kids and how bad it was and they seemed offended my mom didn't care. I was like, my mom took me to see the south park movie ok, so this ain't nothing. Lol no. She did but I didn't say that. @@KoKerm
Wow this song reminds me of something…
The fact he was is in DIDDY KONG racing is wild
Haha yup! 😂
With Conker, it becomes P Diddy Kong Racing
Remember.
The Mighty Poo will throw his shit at you.
Great mighty poo*
I remember discovering this game in Elementary school, it was my first introduction to WWII and D-Day
I’m not joking
Lmao at least it taught you something 😂

Some of my fondest memories of a real close friend of mine are because of this game. The multiplayer specifically, where you could be the American squirrels or the German bears. He ended up on the streets because of drugs.
Probably because of this game. Very sad.
@@bluedistortions Bro what 😭😭😭😭😂😂😂😂😂
Damn I'm sorry about that bro. Life hits hard sometimes.
@@bluedistortions That ain't funny. If you find that funny, there is something seriously wrong with you. If you're blaming the game, still, something seriously wrong with you. Very insensitive.
I played the Beach level of Multiplayer SOOOO much with my friends back in the day
It was so satisfying to beat Conker's Bad Fur day
Cool 😎
Conker’s bad fur day was such an amazing game

@@alexjones1403 wincel?
Conker doesnt know its target audience, thats why it flopped, even after it was remade.
@WhatIsMatter101 it flopped because why would you buy a n64 game that
came out right before the game cube xbox and ps2 era
Ha. I went to school with the actress in the eventually banned commercial.
This feels like a game that you can only play while drunk as Conker.
Nintendo NEVER SOLD Rareware. They didn't own Rareware. Rare's founders sold the company and Nintendo decided not to buy.
Lol what they sold rare ro ms for 250 million pounds that's a historical fact they purchase retro studios for exactly 1 million dollars ms brought rare for 250 million pounds 500 million dollars at tne time rare have failed ever since retro brought for 1 million by nintendo first game was game of the Yr and a topm10 all time METROID PRIME your talking utter nonsesne
@@audie-cashstack-uk4881 No, I'm stating facts. The video says that Nintendo sold Rareware which isn't true. Nintendo never owned them. The founders of the studio decided to sell and Nintendo didn't buy them.
True, they didn’t buy Rare as they didn’t see potential in their future
@@maksrobotengr I believe that Rare was simply too expensive to justify to Nintendo's shareholders because they also owned IP's. It was much cheaper to buy a studio that didn't own any valuable IP's like Retro Studios.
@@successanimationI did not know that, thanks for clarifying
The multiplayer modes were also amazing!
I tested Conker's Bad Fur Day at NOA. It was tested in the very back of the Mario Club, behind a secure door separate from the rest of QA.
Worth mentioning is Nintendos M rated game for the Wii called No More Heroes. The 2nd one was even better.
That was a badass game
So kickass.
That was like the Nintendo equivalent of Lollipop Chainsaw. Love crazy games like that.
The world needs a sequel to this game.
I played this game when I was 6 in like 2002. Had an older cousin who had it and lent it out to me because he figured most of the jokes would go over my head and I'd enjoy it anyways. It was my first time ever experiencing "adult" humor as well as some effects that would show up in modern gaming such as slow-mo in the late game (which completely fascinated me more than the fact that I was literally pissing on enemies to kill them). Sure the jokes soared over my head but I loved it. And as a 28 year old some shit had me in stitches such as the whole "big bone" gag in the caveman world. Love it.
Absolutely legendary game, most fun i had with a nintendo game in ages tbh
Also great video man!
I don't think Nintendo was ashamed of it actually. They promoted the heck out of it at E3 with a alcohol bar, promoted it in adult magazines, and had a unique Player's Guidebook for it. In fact, during development when Rare told Nintendo they were redoing the game as a mature rated game with vulgar jokes, Nintendo actually encouraged them.
Only thing odd was Nintendo Power magazine hardly regarded the game, though I suspect it was because Nintendo didn't want to upset Karen SoccerMoms. (Didn't stop them from allowing other M-rated games like Turok, and Doom 64 to get covers in NP magazine though.)
I’ll never forget being 12, my parents gave me some cash to buy a game from Best Buy that weekend and while they walked around the store I chose this and the clerk just let me buy it and hid it in the plastic bag the whole way home lol. I’m really fortunate I was able to play this when it came out since I knew none of my friends never got it and I would have missed out on this classic, the multiplayer was actually kind of a blast too.
9:15 Pretty cool (and semi-nostalgic) that the first and the last game on N64 featured a similar villain spinning move.😉
Keep chugging along brother, with content like this it really is just a matter of time
Never got to play Conker back in the day. Just went on Ebay and ordered an N64 copy. Ima finally play it
Me and my brother rented this game from Blockbuster and kept it
I was obsessed with this game. one of my favorite n64 games ever, and we spent so much time on the great different multiplayer modes. Beach mode anyone?
This game is amazing cause despite how many times I’ve played this… I can’t chronologically remember how tf Conker ended up ANYWHERE he ended up placing himself😭 bro went from happy plains, to a turd mountain, to a barn, to a haunted mansion- BACK IN TIME! Space! this game just did it all! And even had fun cheats to help unlock certain stuff, only ones I can remember are
-BovrilBullethole
-WeldersBench
Weldersbench!
I remember waking up one morning to seeing my brothers playing this game idk where it even came from but i still remember it fresh in my brain. Good times…
Conkers will always be one of my all time favorites. What a masterpiece! Pure entertainment!
One of the first video game boss compilations was on Conker’s Bad Fur Day
My entire friend group loved conkers bfd, along with all my sisters. Playing the Normandy beach level with snipers and katanas was a blast. Goriyaaah!
This was a childhood game for me, loved playing as conker in diddy kong racing too.
I loved conkers bad fur day! A milestone in my life I’ll never forget.
A game giving out condoms to market itself is something I will never forget
The greatest game ever made. It's even my profile picture
Well done!
Naw bro, that's alvin😬💀
You only just changed that prior to watching the video
@@ObiWanShinobi85 you're just a hater, I've always had this profile pic. Conkers Bad Fur Day was my childhood
This is my 4th favorite game, behind Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Halo: Combat Evolved.
The humor this game had was also something that shaped my own humor. I have never forgotten the way those female cogs yell for help, the way those fire imps yell, " MY BALLS!", the song from the area where you have to get tickle bees to tickle a big-breasted sunflower to open up and let king bee pollinate, the Great Mighty Poo, the way money talks, etc. I was 8 years old when I played that (maybe 10), mom had no idea what the rating meant and had no idea what kind of game she bought me for a good long while.
I remember replaying the game at my grandmother's house, in my aunt's room, and reaching the Mighty Poo, then calling out for my mom and aunt to watch. They loved that singing. It was the only game my mom ever watched me play and enjoyed.
This was one of the best games of my childhood. My cousins and I would spend countless hours not only beating the game, but running around in multiplayer, peeing on each other in the bathrooms, spraying each other everywhere with RPG guns. I even remember cheats for that damn game. :'D
Like Billymillroundabout. LMAO. I'm so dead.
Props for the super meat boy reference and the sountracks used
Conker’s Bad Fur Day was so damn fun, I played it more than Mario 64.
My brother loved this game. I was lukewarm to it, but I applauded the kinds of bold creative risks they took in such a family friendly environment. I couldn’t believe the type of stuff they were referencing. Saving Private Ryan. The Matrix. A Clockwork Orange. Jaws. Aliens.
I cannot tell you how much I loved this game and am glad my parents ignored that M rating and let me play. One of my favorite things is my plushies from the game like Great Mighty Pop
I started remaking this game in unreal, but dang does it have a lot of animations
While time hasn't been too kind to some of the controls and physics of the game, the game is still fun to play time to time (mostly for the first two thirds of the game). And people can say what they want about the jokes and stuff, but they certainly made a memorable game. It wasn't just shock value for the sake of shock value, it did feel like they put their hearts into the game, as well as their farts. While not perfect, it is a great game.
Also I think there's a misunderstanding about Live & Reloaded. That game wasn't intended to just be "BFD remake with different multiplayer". The multiplayer was meant to be the main feature of the game that also featured a remake of Bad Fur Day.
Why tf did i not get recomended one of your videos for FOUR MONTHS, thank god i found you back, im catching up with ur vids and then i´l watch this one
TH-cam by wild sometimes man idk
Because corporate fascist TH-cam loves to censor critical thinking videos.
The multiplayer battles were awesome. My friends and I would play for hours!
Yes!! It's my favorite for this reason. So many good memories peeing on everyone.
I like how in Diddy Kong Racing, the racers look like classmates. Then, it's like whoever got a full game, the game was a depiction of pretty much their life after school. Conker definitely fell off the deep end in his games.
I am not too sure about Timber, Pipsy, Bumper, and Drumstick.
It was arguably their best game they ever released.
One of the best games for n64
Had a guy in the store who was obseesed with games. We often went and asked his advice when we didn't know what to do to finish a lvl or where to find a secret.
So naturally, we asked him is this one good. He laughed, put the cartridge in a different box and told us to not tell anyone. Not only didn't we pay full price, we also shared the one game between 20 or so guys so everyone in our school we trusted to return the game would see the great mighty poo sing.
I remember only 3 or 4 of us actually being able to finish the game. I don't think it was too hard, but people just hid it from their parents never to reach home😅
Absolute banger KoKerm
Conkers bad furday was the best part of my childhood
Still to this day my favorite game and I beat it at least once a year since its release
Conquers bad fur day was the absolute beez neez item 9
Conker was one of the best games back in n64 days. Multiplayer was the cherry on top.
"Isshhh ... context-sensitive. It's, uh ... sensitive. To context."
we had a blast playing this multiplayer.
I love that game. Got it on my 15th birthday. Hadn't regretted it.
So Conker Was The Nintendo Equivalent To Crank Yankers on Comedy Central they were behind the show at first but lost Interest after season 3 and moved season 4 to MTV2 a cable channel nobody had or watched
When I think of Nintendo, I think of a bunch of angry old men that have tantos on their walls for once they realize they can’t stop people from making nsfw stuff with their characters, but samurai swords when people make games inspired by them or mod their characters into other people’s games.
I was obsessed with this game when it came out
Bought it day one of release and loved it so much! It is still lots of fun!
I loved this game. Haven’t thought about it in years.
Local multiplayer was something else
The last time I played this game was back in my high school days and me and a few other friends were playing it. And a buddy of mine had a yellow gold Cardridge of the game.
This game really was an awesome multiplayer game. It ranks up there with smash, diddy king, and perfect dark
Another banger Kerm x
Im getting conker for my n64 tomorrow and it im going to have fun it looks very fun
Hope it didn’t cost you an arm and a leg

Best game ever
There were two multiplayer games that dominated the video game parties my friends would have during the N64 lifespan.
They were GoldenEye and Conker's BFD.
Even when the Xbox came out and Halo would take over, we would still come back to Conker's.
Don't forget, the "Spooky" chapter was a parody of Bram Stoker's Dracula film in 1992 as well.
I remember getting that on my b-day back in the day. A smoked so much weed playing that.
At first, after your initial intro, I thought this was going to be about Perfect Dark, from the second party 'in-house' developer Rare.
This was a classic among classics. N64s swansong and magnum opus.
I played this back on the xbox as a kid my mom wouldn't lete have on the 64. To this day one of my favorite games and need a sequel
One of my favorite all-time games.
This game is ¼ of a mario spin off and ½ a donkey Kong spin and ¾ a diddy Kong racing spin off
So many great memories playing this game & definitely top 10 best 64 games!
I loved the multiplayer in live and reloaded!
I REMEMBER SEEING someone play this on youtube fighting the dookie monster
The greatest game ever played single and multi-player
this game had the BIGGEST banger in N64 history - rock solid. the only song that came close to this was the 2nd credits song on GTA 3.
One of my fav games ever
Absolutely one of my favorite games ever
THEY NEED TO REMAKE THIS SHIT!!! WE LOVED IT!!!
I love this game I wish we could get a rerelease! Uncensored!
Love Conker's bad fur day for N64 and reloaded
Swear I heard in a rare interview that they supported it.
He and Banjo was my favorite in Diddy Kong racing for the N64
My god i loved this game when i was a kid. Still do tbh
KoKerm is a great channel to watch while eating
I remember how much fun it was playing this game with my neighbor. Back then I didn’t know it was made for mature audiences.
this game is the GOAT played this game all the time best with friends as well the multiplayer was amazing.
One of my favorite games. Just lots of laughs
He didn’t even get into the multiplayer… absolutely Legendary
I remenber coming back after 10+ years to finish the game after i best the mechanical teddy with the girl hand. Thats where I left it at, and my god im glad i came back to finish it as the ending fight was so unexpected
Conkers was the reason i picked up n64 again and was excited when xbox had it
I wish I could of had one of those mugs
Great video, stellar editing. Don't you worry, the subs are gonna sky rocket in the future
I LOVED this game , me and my brother beat the game when it came out and also played multiplayer every weekend w split screen, I was always the teddys and he was the squirrels . I paint trains and did a conkers bad fur day peice to give homage to it 😊
I will never forget playing the normandy landing, fucking brutality
Of all the things that teenagers are allowed to do when they're old enough, the one I remember being most excited about wasn't getting a driver's license, or going to R-rated movies without my parents, or being able to vote. No, it was the fact that I was able to buy this game when it was originally released in 2001, because I'd just turned 17 a few months earlier.
Well there is conker reloaded
