West Yellowstone Shortline Trail XC Ski

Traveled to West Yellowstone to catch some snow. Typically there would be enough around Gallatin County this time of year but all the storms are sitting south. Found the Shortline trail that heads SouthWest out of West Yellowstone toward the continental divide. I believe the Yellowstone Shortline Trail project in partnership with the Custer Gallatin National Forest are looking to connect this trail all the way to Teton National Park paving a 180 mile blacktop trail.
