OMG!! Yes! You read my mind! I really want to check out the Kaneohe Sandbar! I just started following Captain Bruce on Instagram. They do charters to the sandbar. Maybe for my birthday this year, I will treat myself and get a charter so I can ride in style. 😎 Great suggestion! Kailua Beach is verrrrry nice. I like your style! 🤙🏾
Aloha is more than hello, good-bye, compassion, kindness. Aloha is a Lifestyle, State of Mind & a State of Being. IMO....Not stressing over things beyond/out of your control
Great idea! I was actually there a few weeks ago for the first time! I learned SO much! I was there for like 4 hours and still had not done it all. So many great exhibits and so beautiful too! Very well kept. 🌺
Yes! They are everywhere! Me and one of my dear friends were almost attacked by pigeons while having lunch one day. 😂😂 We made quite the scene trying to shoo them away. The chickens are so sweet tho. One came up to me recently and just stood next to me while I was sitting. We were just hanging out. 🐓😊
Mahalo Robert. 🤙🏾I've learned that Mauka in Hawaiian means towards the mountains and Makai means towards the ocean. I've been hearing it more and more. 😉🙏🏾
Chiiiile...I'm like a moth to a FLAME when I see those chickens flying into trees. I cannot get enough. I stop and watch every time I see it...like it's a tv show! lol Yes! The 9th island and pineapples!! So interesting.
Love your work ! This is a refreshing type of Hawaii YT vid looking through fresh eyes on Oahu. Like Brenda down below , I’ll be there in May for 14 nights and can’t wait ✈️ Your vid is like a refreshing recap of the tons of YT vids I’ve already researched for Hawaii 🌴🏖🌺🌈🤙
Aloha Rod! 🤙🏾 Your kind words mean so much.🙏🏾😊 I wanted the episode to feel like a love letter to Waikiki. Hawai'i has been so welcoming and kind to me, I wanted to extend that aloha back. I hope you have an amazing time when you are here in May. And 14 days?! You know how to do it right! 😎 It's not as rainy then but still just as beautiful. ☀️🌺🌴
Aloha Brenda! 🤙🏾🌺 Thank you so much for your kind words. And how exciting! 17 Days, too!! Love that! I hope you have the BEST time here! Okay...if you are into shave ice...you MUST try Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice. It just opened on O'ahu about a month ago and it's their first location here. It is amazing! It's right next door to Leonard's Bakery. And please stay tuned...more to come! 🙏🏾☀️
Oh no way!! Haha! Thank goodness I went on that tour or I would still be thinking there was a pineapple tree. lol Already working on the next video! Stay tuned....
The wild chickens became overpopulated due to Hurricane Iwa in the fall of 1993. The damage to Kauai and Oahu suffered noticeably, with one result being chickens being released... and like rabbits over the years doing their thing, overpopulation took place😳!
@@hawaiiguy1 You coming with the good knowledge! 🙏🏾 I love the chickens! lol There was a family in the drive thru at Starbucks by Kahala Mall the other day. Ohhhh...it's interesting to know how their population exploded.
So funny about the flip flops Dwayne because when i did the diamond head tour a lady said to me oh your doing this walk and in flip flops too haha We call them Jandals in New Zealand and i wouldn't recommend doing the walk in them at all! Yes i new pineapples grew in the ground because of the tour too and no i have never seen chickens in the trees either and I've been to Hawaii a lot of times.Keep up the good work Dwayne enjoying your videos so much!!! Also are you there with your family if so would love to see them in your shots enjoying Hawaii as much as you do and me!!! Mahalo

My feet would've been so mad with me. 😂 I would LOVE to visit New Zealand. I'll make it there some day. It's definitely on my list! 📝 Seeing those chicken in the trees was amazing! I couldn't believe my eyes...and I grew up around chickens! I'm so happy you are enjoying; that means so much. I'm having a blast making them because I'm learning so much along the way. I am not here alone and I would love to have them join. They are a bit camera shy but maybe one day. 😉
Yes i did it in jandals aka slippers hahaha my feet didn't give me too much trouble but i ended up with a lump on my knee from all the walking which eventually went away but it was worth it i'm glad i did it! And waited so long for the bus to arrive that i decided to walk back to waikiki so that didn't help, i love walking though and the scenery was great and they had huge military convention on in the park it was amazing to see!!! sorry for the long reply but i feel so comfortable with you as i can see you are a kind and chill guy as you said!!! looking forward to many more videos Dwayne Mahalo Would love a video on the waikilei factory outlet?
