Here-Here. And i wouldn't truly consider myself a fan. But i know a master when i see one. His whistle is angelic.
I was wondering how he would perform this song live, as I thought nobody could whistle live like that. Turns out I was wrong.
He is a Bird.
Story goes the National whistling association wanted to make him representative because he is so good but he declined because he only does it to fill in melodies and does not take himself that seriously with it.

i can’t wrap my head around his melodies, plenty of music can make my hair stand up but he takes me beyond that. the tension is so strong that when they break into the hook u just have to move.
IMO, this was one of the best songs of 2019 - great live performance, here.
And of 2021. Insurance commercial blew it up.

. He isn't even TRYING. it's mad. I can whistle pretty well, but i have had to really learn to control my tongue more. His is no doubt wiggling in there in a wild fashion. I can do some of Andrew's diddies, though.. feels good
Andrew and his violin are wild animals whom can't be tamed, even the devil can't stop them... actually watching Andrew play, it's something else, him and his violin are one. Andrew Bird is like Dr.Dolittle but with musical instruments instead of animals, he can speak the language of the violin and we're so lucky to have their music and the translations he offers
