EXIT is the two-time winner of the “Best Major European Festival” award and is continuously recognized by global music stars, fans, and the media alike.
Held each year at the 18th century colossal Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad in Serbia, EXIT started as a student movement whose massive protests brought down the oppressive regime in Serbia. EXIT became the first mass event to gather people from all over the Balkans after a long decade of divisions.
In 2021, the festival marked its 20th anniversary and went down in history as the first major festival in Europe to take place after the pandemic, with over 180,000 music lovers from more than 70 countries.
Celebrated as a place where hedonism meets activism, it is the social relevance of EXIT that has made it unique and globally recognized, hosting stars like Pet Shop Boys, Billy Idol, The Cure, The Killers, Guns N’ Roses, Franz Ferdinand, Motörhead, Iggy Pop, David Guetta, Massive Attack, Liam Gallagher, Grace Jones, Fatboy Slim, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, The Prodigy, Migos, Sex Pistols, Kraftwerk, Korn, Moby, Arctic Monkeys, Chemical Brothers, Faith No More, LCD Soundsystem, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Pulp, Jamiroquai, M.I.A., Slayer, Ellie Goulding, Hardwell, Avicii, and many others.
EXIT’s Dance Arena is considered as one of the best and biggest dance floors in the world. You know DJs know what they're doing when they almost perfectly tailor their sets to the changing time of the day - was amazing to see how the tempo and song selections changed as the sun was fully up compared to when they started the set when it was darker

Does anyone else feel like Mind Against peaked in 2017-18? It feels like then as they got more mainstream and more commercial they abandoned those sounds that made them special. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy their tracks but those all night longs in Amsterdam with those dark tunes that was something else😕 Glad I was there when it happened
I think we all change, evolution is a part of the life , to be honest the message of theire music brings me to dream and lost my mind in it like in 2018/2017 , just in a more evolution form. I think the gap from mainstream and techno is not so big like the past years. in my opinion what is important is the story , no matter about if play prince of denmark, leafar legov or eryc prydz
I really don't think it sound bad just because turned mainstream, it is total the opposite. They were so sucessfull that nowadays everybody loves Melodic Techno, it is the new Big Room. Imagine playing the same thing, it would be totally boring, people loves changes!

There was similar comment in a tale of us set. I wrote there, that all the afterlife now play trance and progressive. It started around 2020. I was hoping Mind against wont ride the mainstream wave, sadly they did. For me this is a step back. Trance and progressive house was popular 25 years ago, it was just faster back then. Elum and innervissions are still true to their style.
Honestly, as long as nobody's telling me to raise my mother f. Ing hands in the air over the mic, I tend to groove and evolve; just not devolve to what I just said. Peace 😊
