Adriatique is an electronic music producer and DJ duo from Zürich, Switzerland formed in 2008 by Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer. Over the course of a decade, they have delivered atmospheric blend of melodic house and techno on record labels such as Diynamic and Afterlife before founding their own in 2016, Siamese.

Hatshepsut is a mortuary temple also known as the ‘Holy of Holies’ in Egypt, and located near Luxor. Being around 3,500 years old, its architecture almost looks contemporary, with its symmetry contrasting with the rocky cliffs that overhang it.

Im 36 years old and i did almost every festival in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, but these two are making history. Unfortunately i didn't have the chance to see them, but in my dad space at home with my headphones, I'm enjoying goosebumps all the way through. What a masterpiece of art this is. Thank you Cercle for making these incredible live sets possible and give a piece of art for ourselves at home in our living room. The longer i hear this, i even get tears of pure joy in my eyes. Yeah, this is kinda fire. I am unfamiliar with the artists, yet this is a symphony of 1000's of years of aesthetics and sound.
The dark rave sound is great. I love the modern form of how it interacts with melodic techno and a dozen other genres. Never underestimate a dj(or 2) + a sample library, and with composition added somehow.
And then the audio is well recorded, the drone footage is awesome, the crowd is usually chillin and...yeah. what else can I say.
Rest in Peace I_O. The sound you found, stole, remixed and played beautifully lives on in others.
I immediately thought of the Egyptian pharaoh 3500 years ago, climbing the steps in a temple built especially for her. Then came the music and these crazy drone flights that show surreal perspectives.
It gave me the creeps.
The music fits the location perfectly.
The combination of artist, location and the whole production are unique and make Cercle for me a standard against which others have to measure themselves.

Standing 5 feet away from Adriatique in front of the temple of Hatshepsut during nightfall was the most insane experience of my life so far.
Also, Misty, the warming up DJ put on a hell of a show as well, and the after on a small island in the nile made this day a historic one!

Just saw them play im Los Angeles lastnight. I'm currently sick and going through on going medical issues. When my doctor said I may want to be hospitalized so they could monitor me on Saturday(same day as Adraitique show), I said no I will go on Monday or Sunday...I don't wanna miss the music! Being at my favorite temple in Egypt is already enough to be awe-inspired; adding this experience, the music, the light production, and the atmosphere made being there at this set the greatest musical experience of my life. 🙏
