Thanks for this wonderful video! This has been the most informative video among all the ones I have seen for Clearwater hotels/resorts. I also loved your other Clearwater video. My husband & I plan to visit sometime next month and due to food allergies, we prefer rooms with atleast a microwave & refrigerator. Appreciate your tips as they helped us narrow down to select few
The Wyndham Grand also has an amazing restaurant, Ocean Hai. Even if you aren't staying there, figure out when sunset is and make a reservation 20-30 minutes before so you'll be getting your drinks and dinner just as the sun goes down. It's amazing! Edit: and just as I hit save, you mention it haha
Great video. My wife and I and 2 kids (9 and 17) are heading to Clearwater at the end of August. Costco Travel offers the Hilton and Hyatt as a package. Which hotel would you recommend? Looking for beach time and good shopping / eating area. Also a decent pool as a bonus.
Thanks that has been very helpful. Trying to find the right hotel is hard because there are so many. Can you recommend the Hampton Inn? Is that a hotel you would recommend? It seems very nice.
I'll be in Clearwater beach mid july..Love the Hilton...location is best in my opinion. Upgrades were made but I'm OK with it..it's in such a convenient spot. Most of the action is north beach ...Hilton onward....best beach for me
Great job on the video... Very informative. Just a question... How come the water looks green on some of these videos? I've been wanting to see crystal clear blue water... 😥
Going to CWB in June. Staying at Opal Sands. 5 of us in our family (3 teenagers). Never been there. We booked a Premium One bedroom Suite King. The wraparound balcony looks great. Not ideal sleeping accommodations for the kids but I had to stop somewhere with the cost. Lol. We are very excited. Your informational videos on CWB have been very helpful and entertaining and we also enjoy rewatching them to find something we may have missed.
when are you goin? my hubby and i leave in 2 days and leave on the 11th. we live in Kansas! lol unfortunately we are staying at the clearwater beach hotel. all we can afford lol be nice to be in a better one but hey at least we will be there.
Hi, thanks for the video and all the wonderful information you gave. I am going to Opal Sands for our anniversary in August. Do you know if we will have a hard time getting an Uber to the Opal Sands Resort?
Hi, thanks for this info. We are going to Disney next June and are thinking of spending a week on the Gulf coast at the end to recharge our batteries. Actually I’ve tried to find a deal on one of the Clearwater Beach hotels for 30th June for one week and can’t seem to find anything. Is it too early to book this? I was hoping to get something for around £100-£150 a night max ($130-$175). Is this realistic? If not can you recommend somewhere else on the gulf, not too far from Orlando, where we might find this? Thanks Lloyd
Hi Lloyd, sounds like a great trip! It's a little too early to be booking for next June but based on this summer's pricing, it will be hard to find a resort on the beach in Clearwater for that price. I suggest looking at a condo rental or looking further south in the Treasure Island area.
Great video!! I stayed at the Hilton Resorts but would like to try one of the others you mentioned on your video. It was a very helpful and informative video. Thanks so much
I have found both your videos about Clearwater Beach very helpful. What other hotels are on the beach besides the Hilton? The others you mentioned were across the street or further away from the Pier. TIA
Thanks so much Olivia! The Hilton and SandPearl are the only hotels located right on Clearwater Beach in the sand. Opal Sands is at the end of the beach but you can still walk onto the beach from hotel without crossing the street. South of Opal Sands there are a few with their own small private beaches (Shepards, Holiday Inn and the newer Winter hotel are a few). There are a lot of condos for rent all along the beach so that may be an option. Also, take a look at Sand Key which is right over the bridge from Clearwater Beach. I don't mention any of those hotels on the video but there are a couple right on the beach there.
the best thing I did was move from this city nothing to do lily jobs, I live in Hallandale Beach Fl which is close to Miami and Hollywood Beach Fl the night life is great it's a lot of jobs that's available and paying good.
Hello. I am debating between sand pearl, hilton clearwater, or opal. Going w my mother, wife and six yeae old daughter. What would you recommend best? Want to be right on the beach. Thanks.
Hi Tony, sounds like the Sandpearl would be a good option for your group. It's right on the beach with a great pool, kid's activities (I would call to verify exactly which kid's activities will be available on your dates due to possible COVID restrictions) and onsite restaurants. The only exception is if you want to be right in the middle of everything. In that case I would go with the Hilton. It's very family friendly as well with tons of activity right out the door.
IMO The Wyndham Pool would only be considered large if it was in your backyard. In reality the pool and pool area are undersized IF the pool only served the hotel OR Timeshares. Since the pool is shared by both properties it's an absolute joke. I went down at 6:30 am and all that chairs were claimed. At 1pm there we so many people in the pool it looked like a hot tub in the photo I took from the 7th floor.
Thank you for your video! I agree with your opinion on the Hyatt. My family recently stayed at the Hyatt and it was fantastic! We had a 2B/2Ba Suite that was gorgeous, the same one you showed in your video. The staff there was great. The pool is not a huge one but it's still very nice. The walk across the street to the beach wasn't a big deal to us, it's Gulfview Blvd and it's not extremely busy. There are pedestrian crosswalks and traffic will stop for you. The Hyatt is still very close to a lot of restaurants and activities.
Hi Kevin, my husband and I love Opal Sands when it's just the two of us. Try to request a room in the middle section, high level for gorgeous views. Enjoy and Happy Anniversary!
Do you have an email that I can email you to inquire about condos in Clearwater Beach Florida? I tried going onto the website listed, but it wouldn't load. Thank you in advance!
Well let me express yesterday was a surprise he gave me we tuck a bus and a we tuck thr troly buss then my husbsnd tuck mr clearwater beach which was so breath taking pluse there foid so taisty and there clothes so tropical my man propose to me marriage and i said yesss and i am eo excited more cause we got vedio to have memory with
Shepperds rocks . Just left there on Thursday and it was a blast ! Tons to do , never a dull moment . Very friendly staff as well
Im going to that hotel in August , any suggestions?
This woman is really terrific. A great intro to lodging in Clearwater!

Loved this video it was very helpful!!
Need an updated video. A lot of new hotels in the last three years.

I agree, the Hilton location is so hard to beat! I just have to overlook the rooms :-) Enjoy your trip!
Great video! I didn't think to look at square footage of hotel rooms. Rooms at Hyatt are double that of Hilton. That makes a difference to me! 🌴🏖
Great job on the video... Very informative. Just a question... How come the water looks green on some of these videos? I've been wanting to see crystal clear blue water... 😥
Hi, thanks so much! Most if the time the water is light blue, however seaweed can sometimes make it darker or even greenish color.

That's great to hear! You are going to love the view in that Opal Sands Suite! I'm glad that could help and have an amazing time in Clearwater Beach!

All great but the least expensive is about $500 night. Opal sands is about $800 night.
Agree 😅
Lol I got 2 rooms at gulfview hotel on the beach for 404 a night

Great video!! I stayed at the Hilton Resorts but would like to try one of the others you mentioned on your video. It was a very helpful and informative video. Thanks so much
Excellent video:)
Love your RunDisney Marathon Mickey ears!
Great video well done!
It sure would be nice if you kept the names of the hotel as subtitles as you described them because it’s hard to remember them
Good suggestion. Thanks!
My wife and i (mid 30s) are between Opal Sands and the Sandpearl for a couples getaway. Which one would you prefer?
Thanks! Very helpful video
Be there in three weeks i booked at paire 60 perfect spot for me and my son its are first time in clearwater
Bay, that's a great spot! Very centrally located. Have a great trip!
Going in September for 7 days. We are staying at a condo..
Pier 60 is a good choice My daughter and I loved it 😍
Does anyone know what hotel is now on the property where the old Adam's Mark Caribbean Gulf Resort used to be?
Going to Orlando in one week , originally was planing to go to cocoa beach but not after seeing this video .
Nice video but need better volume
Thanks for watching Joanna!
Great job, thank you!
Thank you for this will be booking soon

Thanks! I'll look into that for future videos!
Yes and keep the hotel name as subtitles through out
Question for you when do all the college kids come? We are thinking of coming down first week of march
Hi Gary, typically the college spring breaks take place during the entire month of March.

Don't do hilton

Is Opal Sands where the Adams Mark Caribbean Hotel used to be
Yep! I think it is!
is it a clothing optional beach?
hope so
Looking for a place to stay half way to Disney and a nice beach no coco beach. For 8 adults 3 kids for may 19 to may 22nd
Where to stay with kids in Clearwater?
Hi, I’m not sure if you’ve booked yet but the Hilton is on the sand and has kids programs on property. The pool is great for kids as well.
Going in july? Me and Wife for our anniversary any recommendations for just two?
Hi Kevin, my husband and I love Opal Sands when it's just the two of us. Try to request a room in the middle section, high level for gorgeous views. Enjoy and Happy Anniversary!

I am staying at the hyatt in june
Who has the best deals for a family with 3 kids??
Wonderful video, but it was not very helpful for those who are looking for budget friendly place .
What's the nearest major city to Clearwater?
Hi, the closest major city is Tampa.
Greatly appreciated . I plan to move to Florida and studying the area.
The Hilton rooms are so dated. Also their was a noise from a fan outside that kept me up all night. Way to much money for that old place.
Will I get to see Tom Brady, and have drinks with him???
That would be nice He definitely seems to be more fun since moving to Florida :-)
Flordia keys
