It has been so hard to find a image or video of different between Free and Premium. Thank you. I use Charge to track my sleep and it seems that I get enough information without Premium.
Glad you found it helpful! Definitely doesn't seem worth paying for your use case - I still have hopes they bring back some of the old sleep UI though 😵
Thanks mate, that was great info, well presented, relatable. Your review felt honest and authentic, qualities that seem pretty rare in a lot of tech reviews!
These are not medical devices and just capture information make a few recommendations but make it very clear that it's not diagnosing a condition or a replacement for a healthcare professional. If it was it would be heavily regulated and loads of features would be taken out.
i would like to buy a pixel watch (2 or 3) but it baffles me that it costs so much and and if want to fully use it you need a very pricey subscription.. WTF Google... either make the watches much more affordable so the basic features are worth the price and you have the option for premium, or just make all features avaiable for free... (or only put the recipes and workout videos and tips premium) and 2 or 3 dollars per month would even be too much for a subscription when you already paid hundreds for the device...
Having switched to the Garmin, I have to say it is a terrible device if you want to track sleep score and calories. It's the most frustrating smart watch I've ever purchased (I have the Lily). I've had to contact support countless times and some of them were really dismissive and just tell me the Garmin is designed to be not that great.
Note - It looks like daily readiness has moved to the free section with the release of the Pixel Watch 3

If nothing else, they do seem to be heading in that direction (only paywall videos) - but it is still annoying to be promoted for a sub
Thank you.
The Fitbit app service ought to be free. It's not worth the price anymore when there are other app services that are better and...free.
I do agree - it feels like they're trending that way...
But then you have Samsung putting a subscription on their ring... So who knows...
Plus that the company bombed the charge 5 in order to sell the 6.
Yeeeeah about to buy a fitbit and this is a turn off. Im already buying the hardware now they want me to have some features if I pay…
So basically the Garmin Venu 2 is way better.
I think Garmin has its own problems too, but it's nice that they don't paywall anything
