Yow Surfskate test drive: short boardwalk slashing session

hi! I just bought a yow surfskate with 60mm/40mm/ 83a wheels. Can I change it for bigger and softer wheels without getting a wheel bites while riding? I want more stability and better grip so would try with other wheels. thnx
