Bad politics just makes you dump on things you perfectly know and understand.

Mr. Akomea who appoints the CJ, who appoints SP? Then the appointer must be notified, simple.

    It is to notify him

I believe that using the presidency as a conveyor belt is to notify the president as the appointing authority of the action being taken against his appointee to prepare for any outcome based on the decision of the CJ after following all due processes.

Exactly my brother. This is simple logic. The president appointed the SP, if he's going to be taken out of office, he must be informed about it. That's all.

I am trying so very hard to understand what the difficulty, according to Nana Akomea, is about the president being a conveyor belt in forwarding a petition to the CJ to make a determination, as to whether there is a prima facae against the OSP. For instance, let's assume that I, as a concerned parent, petition the education office that a pupil teacher be expelled for a misconduct without letting the headmaster of the school knowing about the said petition, what will Nana Akomea, as the headmaster of the school, feel or say when asked about his knowledge of the misconduct of the said teacher and what a parent seeks be done in regards to the said teacher? Will he be satisfied in telling the education office that he has no idea of the petition nor the said misconduct of the teacher in question? What opinion will that even establish about you being the "head" when that is all you have to say in response to the matter? Is Nana Akomea saying that the president is no more a public servant? Does his problem with the president being a conveyor belt seeking to confirm the recent misconducts of the president portraying himself as above and beyond everyone else in this country, to the extent of ordering chiefs to stand up and greet him like a monarch? Is this the same honorable Nana Akomea we all know? Has he ever been anywhere near parliament to read or for the very least see this particular article in the constitution about the president's role in regards to the subject under discussion? Is Nana Akomea a "nino" when it comes to the constitution? All I have is questions upon questions, listening to Nana Akomea repeatedly question why the president is a public servant for over a good 30 minutes, intead of delving into the substantive matter. Indeed, we are not in normal times, when the good people we know and invest confidence in turn out to be people we no longer know. God bless our homeland Ghana and make her might and strong!

I don't know why he kept complaining about the six day period given to the President's office to refer the letter. And he kept saying that the President doesn't believe that he is a "post boy". Is he saying that the President has no other work to do at all such that he is always free and always sitting in his office to receive documents and act on them right away as if he has no other business to attend to? Six days is given bcos it is believed that he must be a busy person.
He actually confirmed my suspicions by actually stating that the Supreme court be asked to give an interpretation on the role being given to the President.
What at all do these NPP leaders want?

Hearing Nana in the studio about the role given to the President and that interpretation should be sought, I dare say that he is preparing a way for the President and his lawyers to come out with what they think should have been assigned to them and Not what had been assigned to him by the constitution. Let no one fall into this trap being set by the executive through Nana Akomea

Eeeei, is this hitherto the finest Akomea I knew? Looks like all the finest people I've known in NPP have turned to something else. He's allowed himself to be trained by his boss

He (Nana Akomea) is just acting as if the fact that the president is given enough room to be aware of the petition is a problem. The president is given enough time to be aware of the petition because he is the appointer of the appointee that the petition is for.!!!
