This is a walking, talking treasure here, to a young man like myself, I say this because I am a Hunkpapa Lakota who is eager to learn anything our elders talk about or teach us. Make the most of it while they are here with us, our stories will then carry on to pass to our children and grandchildren. Our ways and who we are will ways be there. Important that we know where we come from. Mitaukye Owasin
Wow, another treasure! I just came across the Lakota language course taught by Sam High Crane, and I have to say that this entire TH-cam channel is absolutely fantastic. I'm not Lakota, nor am I even indigenous American (rather Irish- and French-American), but I do have a passion for languages and one of my academic disciplines is philosophy. I can already tell I'm going to learn a *lot* from the various series on this channel, and I can't wait! Endless "thank yous" to all those involved with creating and teaching these courses and uploading them to the channel so that the entire world can learn from and about the Lakota. We're all going to benefit greatly from your dedication and hard work :)
Pilamiya for all these teachings, for a way to understand and remember, i wish i could be there in the class room too and also be able to ask questions , i'm very thankfull i can learn this way, pilamiya! Mitakuye Oyasin
Please, Native brothers and sisters. Speak with your elders and wisdom keepers! My grandmother is fluent Dakotah speaker and I fear a day where I won't be able to learn anything from her. Learn from our living national treasures.

Thank you so much for your teachings! This information should be included in history classes in our public schools.
