I would LOVE to see more free-sculpting from you! I can totally see a big round sculpted turnip or cabbage with kitbashed limbs stuck out the sides & bottom acting as a special unit for T28. On second thought, I might steal that for myself….
Amazing result; thanks for sharing! Just a note: Part 4 with "Finishing the Troll" isn't currently on your Turnip 28 playlist, so I missed it initially.
Thanks! I really enjoyed sculpting this one. Especially the base miniature for this project, which I sculpted before I started a TH-cam channel. My best tip for the sculpting is to texture the skin with a worn paintbrush. It will leave a lot of tiny lines, scratches and holes that will read as wrinkly dry skin!
On this one I mostly used the paints straight from the pot. This is a huge and roughly textured miniature, so I was not afraid to lose any detail by applying the paint too thick. The stippling and drybrushing probably added some brush marks, but this is fine, as it only added more texture to the skin :)
Thank you! Right now I'm not selling any painted miniatures from my collection. However, I might sculpt some turnip inspired miniatures for resin casting :)
As for rust colours. There is this super matte rust orange by army painter. I just love it. Always looks way to much while its wet but its literally incredible. I can highly recommend it

One of the best minis Ive seen someone sculpt, love how the paintjob makes it look as grimdark as the setting itself. You should be proud!
Thanks a lot :D
You are a true master of your craft. Amazing work.

I am so behind on videos, sorry! The troll has come out so nice. Your designs are amazing.
That means that I produce enough content :)
Glad you like them!
Been looking forward to this video! This is easily one of my favorite pieces you've done. It's been awesome to see this whole guy come together.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This model deserves a place in the rule book.
This looks great; especially the creepy roots.
Thanks!
I really like how the roots and textures turned out :)
you always blow me away with your creations
Thanks a lot :)
YES! Been waiting on this one since the build was finished! :D
Cheers!
It has been a few months, but I hope it was worth the wait :)
@@wilhelminiatures6905 Definitely!
Just finished watching the whole series. these guys came out amazing. You have a fantastic weird imagination!
Thanks a bunch!
I know this is a painting video but that sculpt is amazing. There's so many little details everywhere, fantastic work!

Looks bloody fantastic! Stupid question for you, did you not need to thin the paints for the initial base coats of the skin?

Love troll and the snail minis you've done for turnip! Any chance they'll ever come to retail?
Thank you!

@@wilhelminiatures6905 I was thinking more resin casts than the painted miniatures to be honest. If you ever make casts let me know.
Awesome
