    You can see the HST heritage of this train. just immagine if the track quality were better....

      The track condition is absolutely pitiful for such a large populous state that depends heavily on public transport. A legacy carried on from pillar to post govt/privatised railway entities over the decades. Railcorp certainly the biggest shitstain on the fabric of NSW railway history.

    No mention of anything in the credits at the end, like, thanks BREL / Paxman or whatever 🙂

      They do mention Transmark UK (was the consultancy arm of the BR Research Division) in the credits.
      In the 3 videos they make clear that the train is based on the IC125 and BR & Paxman are also mentioned.

    Power car are a British HST design but the passenger cars are of a USA Budd design

      Power cars are only based on those of the IC125, there are many changes including better weight distribution that COMENG were proud to point out. They are probably better in a front on collision. Carriages again are based on a Budd design but are manufactured by COMENG.

    General cruisng speed of 160Km?? BS. it cant even reach 140km

      Simon Carroll the Xplora can only reach1:45 km but xpt can do 1:60 km
