Yes! You should 100% watch the musical. It’s on Disney+

This is from the special filmed production of the broadway show, it’s currently on Disney+ as well as the original movie, which starred Christian Bale as Jeremy’s character Jack! It’s an amazing musical, very Disney, but the real star is the dancing, as I’m sure you saw in the Tony’s. Truly one of my favorites!

Hes so incredible i cant, jeremy jordans voice is so beautiful, that song made me want to further pursue my dream of theatre, like hes so inspiring and iconic. The whole musical is masterful. Tho this musical severely lacks andrew keenan bolgers singing, i love his voice

Newsies is amazing, it's one of my favorite shows of all time. I was actually in a production of it last year and it was a blast!
The reason you're seeing different people from the Tonys performance is because the Newsies pro-shot is a combination of the Broadway and tour casts.

So glad you liked it! Newsies is one of my all time favorite musicals and I love it so much! The Tony performance was a mashup of Once and For All/Seize the Day, with the original broadway cast. This clip of the song is from the 2017 movie filmed live on stage with a mix of broadway and tour people and is very accessible on Disney+. This show is known for its big dance numbers and there are not many numbers without dance, which is part of why I like it so much!

You should absolutely watch the whole musical! This video is a clip from a proshot that's on Disney+. One of my favorite roles of all time was when I played Race in my freshman year production of Newsies, it's such a good show.

This is my favorite song in newsies and I'm glad that you wacthed it I saw this show when it tours here. Jack wanted to go to Santa Fe because people in that time period wanted to start over and find a new life. sorry That is all i remember from 10th grade history

I know I’m a year late, but I have an answer to the Santa Fe question. For newsies: it used to be the last stop on the railroad, and it was also pictured in quite a few promotional things for moving out west. For Rent: Santa Fe was (and still is I believe) a very queer city. It’s very likely that the characters in Rent (specifically Collins) wanted to move there for a more queer friendly and hopeful environment
