New subscriber. I plan on building a couple of go-karts this summer. They'll be for when the grandchildren come to visit. But my wife and I will definitely not be letting them collect dust when they're not visiting. 😅 Thanks for sharing!
i love this video i was thinking of making a gokart but one i found confusing was the whole setup and i really hope u could show us the full brake system including the pedal
Actually I've never built a go-kart from the ground up before. I can't bring myself to do it when I can find go-kart frames all day on Facebook marketplace for 1-200 bucks
Man, I have been beating my head against a wall trying to get that same caliber setup to function right..... Except I have it horizontal. Lol... Just yesterday I cussed out everything in my yard 😂😂... Then I said, screw it! I jumped on my drift T and gunned it... right....up......4 pallets stacked up 🤣🤣🤣🤣... I didn't even get up... I pulled out a cigarette and thought about setting everything on fire 🤣
I’ve got hydraulic brakes for my manco dingo that I’ve been putting off… I think I’ll fabricate them to fit the same way you did it! I’ve had the stock band brakes the whole time, but with a 420cc engine and 40 series tc the stock brakes will not stop you 😬
Thank you so much for this video. I just got a used 2 seater gokart and the way the guy put the brakes on was horrible. I am gonna copy your setup. Gained a subscriber as well.

Brosky, do you have a tutorial video in wich you make a diy chassis for a kart, by any chance?

Why can't it go horizontal?

Good luck! Let me know how it goes
All the brakes ! !
Getting braked up!
I bought this and I made my own bracket and my rotor lil lil bend and my caliper is not moving side to side like yours
And my bracket is moving side to side even though it's a very strong bracket i made
You bought the same kit?
@@themontemoto yes but I think I figured it out
Youd be lucky if 2 thread counts hold that caliper on by "tapping it". Just weld it
Why use brakes at all?
Yeah I think I'm going to take them off
when Karen pulls out wid the benz
48 hp of stopping powah
Awww yisss
