Should’ve seen this coming after Rodney Childers was announced as crew chief for this ride next year! I thought he lost the ride today but I was mistaken as I misread the story so at least he’ll get to finish the season in the #7. As a Kyle Busch fan, how would you feel if your boy was tapped to replace him to correlate with his Craftsman Truck duties with the team?
They could move McDowell to the 7 car and keep Zane in the 71 car or McDowell in the 71 car and put Zane in the 7 car to work with Rodney
They may pair one of their current drivers with Rodney. Whoever it is will gain an advantage!
