I am 35 and my wife is 3 years older than me, we both are in the education field. Due to her transfer, I am taking care of my children since 2018 (boys 8 and 4 yrs old). But in our life numbers lost their identity. I think that's why we are super happy and still lovebirds. She is serving Naga kids in Arunachal Pradesh like a soldier and her three kids are in Jaipur. She is our pride and we love her very much. There is no need to change her surname because it came from her parents and its a real biological identity for her. But one incident i remember.. when I was pregnant , I went to a clinic for some test.. so I filled a form..then a girl in a reception she immediately changed my form with another form and changed my surname with husband surname.. when I saw and ask her why you changed? Then she said woh surname alag -2 dekh Raha Tha..then i asked her.. shaadi k baad ladki ka surname change hi ho aisa jaroori hai ? what do you think Maine galti se likh Diya aur aapko jyada pata hai mere baare me.. then she was like..aisa kaise ho skta hai... Btw i am a mother of baby girl.

I have been in relationship with the woman of my dreams for the past 6 years. It has been the most beautiful 6 years of my life and I want to grow old with her. We are madly in love and understand each other. We are doctors, I am a surgeon and she is gynaecologist. But whenever we think about marriage we become sad. Despite being well educated and well settled her parents don’t approve of me due to caste issues. We both are Hindus but her family won’t permit her for intercaste marriage. This keeps making me feel depressed, it’s something not in my control. It’s a request to the creative team of Blush, please make a video on intercaste marriage as I think it would help her convince her parents.
This is just so sad. Caste problem in marriages is still such a major issue even these days. And originally caste system was not meant to divide or differentiate. It was only profession based. Sadly it was given this format as time progressed. I am fortunate that my family is not so rigid. Best of luck to you and your love dear. Kind of regressive idea but still ....why don't you pray at some divine place or temple.

No matter what anyone says, everyone has reservations about something, everyone has expectations and a particular outlook to certain things on the way it should be whether it be influenced by societal norms or perspective of self.
This video portrays how a girl of an older age marries a younger guy and is a good topic to debate on. I agree the way it's portrayed here and it should rather be left to decision of the couple in question.
But in reality how many boys are there who want to marry an older girl or girls who would stand to marry a boy who earns lesser. The reasons may differ for an individual but answer is clear - "very few".
It's good to bring such topics out which forces our generation, that want to change the norm, to think and decide what would be best but then again we need a change in us for that to actually happen.
I don't think the story is promoting age/ earnings do not matter or matter. Rather it's just saying that it's the personal choice of those " very few". So just let them be. Jiyo or jeene do.
