Pile 3: well… I pulled my energy back but it had more to do with my ego than anything. I didn’t like that I was getting jealous of people who freely/openly had his attention and I don’t like that about myself… so I’m trying to behave myself..lol. I noticed when I lesson my interaction with him… I can refocus myself and stop the whole jealousy issue… but I do miss him… even tho I get to see him often. I can tell he wants to talk or he’s waiting to see if I’ll say anything to him because he seems to be lingering nearby me at work… which is funny because normally that’s me doing that. Usually one of us has someone talking to us tho and I feel it’d be rude to interrupt. I’ll feel him look at me and I’ll look up to look at him and he’s no longer staring. Only once did we stare at each other for a bit but neither of us did anything because there were people talking to him. I wish I was the kind of person to just ask for his number or social media… just so I can keep our interactions going but I’m not like that. My energy has been pretty low lately too. It’s hard to always be the one energetically entertaining people and so I’ve kind of barely been interacting with people. Overall I end up feeling bad to everyone but I just don’t have the mental energy to be joking around or be fun. My brain is just blank and I keep working to get it over and done with so I can go home rn. Even today I had a day off from work and had plans to do things and I’m just like ‘nope… not today’. It is a common cycle for us tho… we have a brief few happy moments and I feel like we’re getting closer and then it’s back to barely talking or interacting. It’s like I can’t bring myself to talk to him other than saying ‘hi’ or maybe even a ‘bye’… not sure what’s wrong with me. I imagine it’s just as tiring for him as it is for me. I can empathize with his situation. He has been through a lot and I imagine he may have other things distracting him both at work and in his personal life. He was previously married and it ended. I know he’s not sure about getting back into dating again… and I do feel he’s attracted to me but IF he is… I can’t be the only one putting all the effort into starting our interactions. I’m always initiating it. Idk maybe the next time we’re scheduled to work together we’ll get somewhere but we haven’t really had our schedules aligned or had the opportunity to work together lately.
