@@georgehuerta1990 if you noticed his egr is somewhere in a landfill, he probably is also tuned with a “muffler delete”. When you are tuned like that if you dont have better piping for turbo, intercooler, and intake one of those pipes are bound to blow

Amazing just amazing I bought the mpd kit just like this and this kit comes with everything the mine didn’t so many details in consideration here with the gaskets to the manifold that’s huge and a bracket for the dip sticks that’s amazing
So I installed one this weekend, Watching this installation is a must, lots of good tips, also DEEP socket set and wobble connectors are a must., There are couple of things that stumped me like taking the crank breather and adding the dump in the wheel well. Unroll the rubber boot on crank breather tube where it is attached to the lower aluminum intake, there are 3x plastic clips you need to get out of a groove in order to pull it. Only issue I have is the fit on the tube from the 90deg boot from intercooler to ram horn manifold. It is not good on my 17 F350. Tube is too long and it stretches the boot more than it should. Finish looks really good under the hood. There is no extra turbo whistle, and it is only marginally louder than stock. I see no performance gain but I am only running 33 psi max (80 hp tow tune) versus the stock setup. This should be a good setup for high boost setups. If you have the cash I recommend this product.

When you install the upper intake with the bolts in the flange, to be careful not to drop the bolt accidentally I’d advise to put a piece of tape over the bolt to hold it place

BTW was it a safety wire tail or an angle cut zip tie that cut ya ? the old Pipers were tied with a string like material best i remember that was before zip ties tho
I'm thinking the same thing...... DCR conversion. And put an insert in the EGR bolt that seems to always break off. I expect to do an EGR R&R sometime in the future.
@@robr9905I'm doing the full meal deal on my 2015 F-350 soon. Full Pusher race pipe system, KC Stage 2 Whistler, DCR conversion, EGR/CCV "Solution". The DCR is done while the turbo is out from what I saw on the install videos.
This system is for a truck that is already tuned for off-road use. Depending on your individual tune, you may or may not need to adjust it. Ex: If you are still running your CCV in the stock setup, the tune would need to be adjusted. And some tunes (and this is a minority) have MAF parameters that are set too tightly that need to be adjusted for the extra airflow. Overall, most customers already have tunes in place that cover this no problem, but some need to adjust. (For a completely tune free option, check out our Powerflow Intake Manifold and Turbo Inlet Package!)

This system is only compatible with aftermarket turbos (or a 2015+ turbo) on the 2011-14 trucks. If you had that, to answer the CCV question, the parts included in this kit would allow you to plumb to an external catch can or vent to atmosphere. Our filters are made with media that can be oiled, but they are not pre-oiled. We don’t recommend oiling unless you are in a very dusty environment and need the regular extra support of the oil to catch the really fine particles. (If you do oil, make sure to use a cleaning and oil kit from a reputable brand, and take care to follow application instructions carefully to prevent over-oiling.) Replacement filters are $78.50.

Question for you, how does this system work it appears you delete the throttle plate assembly and actuator with the lower intake so do you now control the throttle actuation without this?
Those functions are all electronically controlled in these trucks. The throttle valves are just part of the emissions system; for these race systems they are no longer needed.
Wished I would had saw this kit before ordering gdp piping kit theirs don’t even come with the cac temp sensor port. And have clearance issues with after market fuel filters.
When you did the CCV downplay it why did you leave the filter on why didn’t you do that delete and remove the filter does it matter if the filter is on there does the crane case still breathe with that filter on it even though you did the bypass
If it’s operational like you say I understand but why do they have those SPE he deletes where you have to remove it and run the hose drain down and they have that also other piece that is like a metal filter type of thing because I was told to delete the whole thing and let the drain hose down with a valve on top of the parts under the filter CCV filter
If you're asking about the throttle valve - that piece of equipment is strictly for the emissions system, which isn't utilized in this race / off-road system. Since it's not being used we remove it. The actually throttle system is all electronically controlled and not linked to the throttle valve.
So on the subject of tuning, will this be compatible with my gpr delete tune thru ez lynk or would I need to dyno my truck? Seems like I wouldn't get much out of it without a specialized tune
Just installed the pusher intake kit on my 2016 F350 6.7 powerstroke and now my MAF AND THROTTLE is reading 0 yes zero even when driving. Creating DTC CODE P00BD. How can I correct this????? Thank you for your help and time.

For off-road trucks that are tuned like yours, the throttle valve has been rendered inactive by the tune. Nothing additional is required when you add our race system. I am. I’m not sure how you would be able to remove the fuel filter without cutting the front mounting tab off so the dipstick tube can be bent around it.

No, at this time we don't have any intake manifold that works with the stock 11-14 turbo. We do offer hot and cold side charge tubes that are compatible.
@@just_one_opinion I heard of that, im in florida and theirs a law tht states that the dealer also cant turn down warranties because i do all my own services. The finance manager tried to sell me on a maintenance package stating that if i do my own oil changes it voids the warranty. First thing i wanna do is intake and eventually delete it but ive hear that if i tune it the dealership will know even if stock tune is installed for warranty repairs.

@@user-maxim_79 Every tune and setup is different. This setup is better for over stock boost (shit plastic upper intake) and gets rid of crankcase oil and EGR filth going back in. Does that help you?
HP gains vary so much from individual trucks (due to varying configurations) so we hesitate to give specific numbers, but everyone can count on a proven 150F EGT drop on stock turbo and stock fueled trucks; bigger gains can be expected with higher performance applications + 0.5-1 MPG gains + increased turbo spool. This system also has been tested and proven to handle compound turbo system level boost pressures.
I just saw a video where a customer was complaining how this kit doesn't fit like it suppose to and he showed several Chinese parts in this kit. I was considering this kit, but after what I saw, I'm not dealing with that. I'm tired of forking over my dollar too China.
Our steel is USA steel, our designs are USA, our production is USA, our stainless t-bolt clamps are USA. Our silicone couplers are made in Mexico, and they are super heavy duty / commercial grade and we have no problemo with supporting our neighboring country. Our machined parts are USA steel and aluminum, from USA suppliers. If the video you watched had a complaint, siting the cause as "made in China" would not be the origin of the cause. Yes, very detailed instructions w/ pictures and torque specs are included. There is no critical hardware in this system. All of the torques are less than 8ft/lb.
They unfortunately aren't compatible. Right now we recommend putting the stock box and tray back in with our system and selling the S&B to recoup some of your money. The factory lower box and ducting work great.
We don't have anything for the 2020s yet - they changed just enough that we'll need to re-work the majority of our components on this system. Stay tuned though - 🤙🏽
Base price is $1,290 (un-coated). A typical out the door price includes powder coat, and options in both our coolant reroute and hot side charge tube, totaling about $1,850.
In our testing, we found relocating the battery is unnecessary for single turbo trucks. The lower factory box and ducting to it are more than adequate for a single turbo truck.
Sorry for the mega-slow reply: This system has been independently dyno tested and proven to give a 150F EGT drop on stock turbo and stock fueled trucks; bigger gains can be expected with higher performance applications.

Can't remember this specific day, but it seems every part of the stock Powerstroke is out to get you sometimes.

The factory filter is operational with our system, it's needed to help filter out the oil in the crankcase air.

Just installed the pusher intake kit on my 2016 F350 6.7 powerstroke and now my MAF AND THROTTLE is reading 0 yes zero even when driving. Creating DTC CODE P00BD.

I have a 2019 F-250 that's been deleted. What would need to be done once the throttle valve is taken off?
For off-road trucks that are tuned like yours, the throttle valve has been rendered inactive by the tune. Nothing additional is required when you add our race system. (The throttle valve is not the same thing as a throttle body, although they are commonly confused; the throttle valve on these trucks are strictly an emissions system tool).
Is it possible to get just the coldside setup?
Cold side intercooler tube, or cold air intake? Yes on the first, not at this time on the second.

Hey Rick, the factory air box doesn't have room for a conical filter the size of ours, so we designed it to be open.

Yes it is. We send two stickers with each purchase (one green, one chrome). Many of our customers take one and put it on the actual system, but it's up to the customer. We definitely like the look on the system, but we're a little biased. ;-)

I am. I’m not sure how you would be able to remove the fuel filter without cutting the front mounting tab off so the dipstick tube can be bent around it.

Will this kit work with stock 2014 turbo?
No, at this time we don't have any intake manifold that works with the stock 11-14 turbo. We do offer hot and cold side charge tubes that are compatible.

@@just_one_opinion I heard of that, im in florida and theirs a law tht states that the dealer also cant turn down warranties because i do all my own services. The finance manager tried to sell me on a maintenance package stating that if i do my own oil changes it voids the warranty. First thing i wanna do is intake and eventually delete it but ive hear that if i tune it the dealership will know even if stock tune is installed for warranty repairs.

What does all these up grades do to the life span of the turbo and engine.
These upgrades make the truck more efficient, it runs cooler, etc - definitely improves the longevity of the turbo and engine.
We keep breaking clamps. I tell them they have the wrong clamps cz they are wire clamps. Whats do you think?

Thanks! We don't have performance data yet (other than testimonial data) - it's something we're working on now. And while we appreciate a good dyno session as much as the next guy, we'll use a flow-bench to get the data, which will show exact airflow gains (versus a dyno which reflects the overall setup of the individual truck, not just our parts).

@@user-maxim_79 Every tune and setup is different. This setup is better for over stock boost (shit plastic upper intake) and gets rid of crankcase oil and EGR filth going back in. Does that help you?

HP gains vary so much from individual trucks (due to varying configurations) so we hesitate to give specific numbers, but everyone can count on a proven 150F EGT drop on stock turbo and stock fueled trucks; bigger gains can be expected with higher performance applications + 0.5-1 MPG gains + increased turbo spool. This system also has been tested and proven to handle compound turbo system level boost pressures.
Can I use my S&B Intake box + filter with this kit instead of the open filter?
Nope. You have to get a different part from the jack ass’ over at SPE.
Will this fit the 2020s?
No, there are similarities but the 2020s filter was moved which prevents this from being a bolt-on system for them.

I just saw a video where a customer was complaining how this kit doesn't fit like it suppose to and he showed several Chinese parts in this kit. I was considering this kit, but after what I saw, I'm not dealing with that. I'm tired of forking over my dollar too China.
Our steel is USA steel, our designs are USA, our production is USA, our stainless t-bolt clamps are USA. Our silicone couplers are made in Mexico, and they are super heavy duty / commercial grade and we have no problemo with supporting our neighboring country. Our machined parts are USA steel and aluminum, from USA suppliers. If the video you watched had a complaint, siting the cause as "made in China" would not be the origin of the cause. If you'd like our response to the video, just send us the link so we can let you know our thoughts on when / how that install went wrong.
Does the kit include torque specs?
Yes, very detailed instructions w/ pictures and torque specs are included. There is no critical hardware in this system. All of the torques are less than 8ft/lb.

They unfortunately aren't compatible. Right now we recommend putting the stock box and tray back in with our system and selling the S&B to recoup some of your money. The factory lower box and ducting work great.

What about relocating battery
In our testing, we found relocating the battery is unnecessary for single turbo trucks. The lower factory box and ducting to it are more than adequate for a single turbo truck.
