Who are Kara and Nate?!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.
We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;)
So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.
Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.
4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!
After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are finding the best adventures the world has to offer :)
We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

Of course I love K&N too, but it needs to be said that these elite travel experiences are the most boring thing on YT. They’ve killed many a travel
vloggers’ channels. They signal the end. Once they start participating in these ads targeting at people who will never be able to travel like this the whole channel becomes irrelevant. K&N , please don’t die! Don’t go into the light!!

I totally agree with this. Most of the videos that they have been making for quite some time now are all first class or high end resorts. Also don't need to see so many daring challenges that are so risky.

These types of ultra luxury experiences are not usually my favorite videos of yours (just more fun to be inspired to visit places and try things that are financially within reach) but the enthusiasm that both of you exude is incredible and we really get the sense of how amazing this experience is even after everything you've both done by now. Just remembering back to Kara and Nates first flight to tokyo, ya'll really stayed the same while continuously giving us the same gold content that we love. Thats what we define as the best when we watch content! No matter if ur in the best flight seat or stranded in an island trying to survive, thank you for bringing us with you.

I know plenty of people have said it, but Kara’s humbleness, humility, and unashamed excitement over this kind of luxury is soooo refreshing to see. I don’t know you, but you seem so down to earth and I love that.
Some people would pretend to be only mildly interested and blasé about this kinda experience in order to come off as cool and…idk, just used to decadence like this. LOL For $5000 you bet I would have asked for a different meal if I didn't like what I got, and I sure would want to test out the bed (and probably also taken a nap instead of watching TV). But I'm so happy for them that they got to do this. :)
