That's soul coming from the sound of this bike! Hopefully by the end of September, 2023 I will have one. & I will not be changing anything on it keeping it original. Just need "Yamaha" to now get back on top in the Motogp!? Hopefully? Alex Rins can achieve some miracle when he gets to "Yamaha". After leaving "Honda" .

But are the looks worth the heat and maintenance costs..?
That’s a tough question but maintenance wise; the R1m will be much cheaper than the Ducati in the long run. Especially if you’re racking up a ton of miles daily. The Ducati desmo service at around 15K miles will run you anywhere between $900-1500 USD

@@MikeSmith-qs2nr Ducati all day. It’s a different category. Ducati is leagues ahead from the Yamaha in my opinion; and looks way better.

Is that the full system or slip on with Y pipe?
Slip on with Y pipe. It is a fraction of the cost and pretty much yields the same results. You'll get a lighter system if you go with the full exhaust but we're talking minimal weight savings.. It only matters if you're racing, and every gram matters.
Im stuck between the r1 and ducati v4. The r1 sounds way better imo, but the v4 just looks so sexy and perfect. The r1 looks great too but idk man… its a very tough decision.
Yes that’s tough but if you want cheaper maintenance and if you put on a lot of miles then r1m. Weekend warrior V4s!
The real answer is the Tuono, especially if you don't track. :)

I like the s1000rr sound better r1 cool I am just not a fan of the cross plane I like the flat plane better
Depends on you, I’ve rode the s1000rr Honda CBR and others but r1 hits differently. The sound, the torque the crackles. Once you get on it you’ll love the grunt when it starts going

R1 sounds very unique, and the torque on low rpm hits like no flatplane would
