    In Mexico we calle the lemon "limón" and lima is another frut if I am not mistaken. Tomate is different in Mexico as well. Tomate is green and tomato is jitomate. The most popular onion for cooking in Mexico is the white one. I think that your guacamole is a kind of US stylish. At least in Mexico City we do not prepare it like that.

      Pretty sure this speaker is from Spain. Also, not sure what you mean about tomate...Verde is green.

      @@anniemcdonald6616 in Mexico we have two kind of tomatoes. A green tomato and a red one. The green one we call "tomate" an the red one (tomato) "jitomate". Both are commonly used for sauces.
