Damn! My brain just can't seem to get wrapped around the reality here. I know who she is, I know how long she's been doing this, and I know how old she is.
I listen to her singing. No, that's not right. I experience her performance, from somewhere deep inside. I hear it, I feel it. That voice is so full of soul, it's overflowing with soul. It leads my own soul to be exactly where she wants. Exactly where it needs to be, to share the experience, the feeling, she's expressing.
I know she's 13 years old, but her soul has way more experience than that.

Angelina has the perfect type of voice to be singing with Chris.
I hadn’t realized how much that Karaoke track backing Angelina’s performance of, I’d Rather Go Blind was detracting from her vocal. With Stapleton’s music behind her instead, Angelina’s vocal pleads with deep genuine feeling of loss. I’m normally no longer surprised by Angelina’s ability to vocally convey emotion, but her Karaoke performance, it now seems, was an emotional gem hiding in plain sight.

This song requires no accessories and certainly wasnt lacking in a powerful raspy blues singer...and adding I`d Rather Go Blind between verses doesnt work here..no one would play this in any movie venue or playlist. The intentions are juxtaposing and verbose. There are far too many stories too many words and the entire experience of really appreciating these two artists and the full just intoxicating beauty of their tone scales vibrato the rasp the deep soul and sorrow they pluck you from all time and space put you in a mesmerizing trance note by note you are carried away with them on this beautiful ethereal journey and it is such an unforgettable experience, truly..However, less is more....there is a reason for each pause each hesitation in a sentence a lingering aching sustain on a note...and a late vibrato, you dont want to rush it you want to really fully experience that emotion with them or what is the point of art? If we cut half of DiVincis Mona Lisa and glued it to a half john waterhouses The Lady of Shallot!

She is fairly famous. She is from Norway and won Norway's got Talent in 2014 when she was 7. She got the gold buzzer in AGT champions. You should listen to two songs of hers I would highly recommend. One she wrote and produced when she was 11 called Shield and her AGT Champions auditing Bohemian Rhapsody. Just search them here on TH-cam. :)

I must be in a bubble. I have not heard this until right now & OMG, I'm in awe of her singing this with Chris Stapleton. It was unbelievably a spectacular duet. This young lady has a voice that is like no other voice I have ever heard. When she sings she has so many great qualities of her voice that she takes you on the journey with her. She mesmerizes you with her gritty, soulful & undeniable voice of someone much, much older. This little barefoot babe is going to have the fans eating out of her hands. She brings so much to the table with her voice that recording agencies should be knocking down her door to sign her to their label. I know she will go far. It's like she's explored every nook and cranny of how her voice can sound in this song to take the listener to places. She's the real deal. A true artist--a term that is overused in reference to entertainers. She transports you to a different place.

As to why people don't think this is Angelina, she's wearing blue contacts on her also beautiful brown eyes. I was disturbed by the change at first, and if she keeps this look, I'll miss those dark pools of brown but they certainly do give her a look that stands out.

Why wouldn't you think this could be done? Tennessee Whiskey is the same base track as I'd Rather Go Blind. It's literally where Tennessee Whiskey came from
@@michaelboen2314 Angelina's vocals came from her video as a 13 year old. (Sadly, it seems that this performance is now no longer available from any of Angelina's sites.) Anyway, the backing track she used had backup vocalists along with guitar, organ and sax. In this version, the vocalists remain, but the instruments have been deleted and Chris Stapleton's guitar and his drummer are the only instruments remaining. Apparently, Kaleidoscope either had a pre-mixed version of Angelina's video or a pre-mixed version of the backup from which they could phase invert and thereby delete the guitar, organ and sax. Whichever way it was done, it was NOT a simple mix of the two and I was surprised they had either of these resources available.
